Going with our daughter's family having 2 granddaughters age 9 and 4 and grandson age 6 and wondered when the best time to go that worked well for you. Do we do it for the magical start first day, or get a feel for parks first? Do you have them first get their hair done, (Bibby Boppedy Bo, or however you spell it) I'm the 60 year old grandfather doing the planning so this is out of my area of planning and they looking to me for the guidance! My wife and I go most every year for the last 10. Any help in this area would be appreciated even if you have another idea with character dining elsewhere!! Thanks board for your help as usual.

I would go with whatever menu you and your family like best. Its really just a preference. I would definitely have them go to BBB before the reservation so they are dressed like a princess themselves. They will love the whole experience.

When my family went to CRT we had a pre park opening ADR for 8:05 a.m. I thought it was a perfect way to start the day. I loved that time because we were able to get into the park early and get pictures in front of the Castle without crowds around. We were also the very first in line at the restaurant that day and my daughter was named "Princess of the Day." Also I never took her to bippity boppity boutique since we had such an early ADR, but she did wear a Belle dress and I did her hair for her that morning.

Hope you have a wonderful time!

Your grandson could even do the Knight package at BBB or the pirates league in Adventureland in MK so that he doesn't feel left out. Hope you have a magical time!!!

SWEET how NICE!:thumbsup2 Sounds like you both are DEVOTED GRANDPARENTS! :woohoo:
My late father was SO DEVOTED TOO to his four grandsons! AMAZING MEMORIES for them! ENJOY the trip; Looking forward to doing the same for our sons kids, when they have their families "one day"!:dance3:

I have no advice, but it gave me the warm fuzzies to read your post @postmanrings. I think you and your grandkids will have a blast no matter what you decide to do
