Please help! Springhill Suites OR Radisson Orlando Celebration??

With all of the kudos that people have given to the Radisson Celebration, then, why do you think some people are still insisting that the rooms are too small, the beds are too hard, the staff is too unfriendly, the bathrooms are moldy, the pool is a mess, etc. etc. etc.??

This really scares me off and makes me think that no matter how great the deal is, it isn't worth being cramped into a moldy room. ha ha

The photos on their website look so beautiful that the rates at this "resort" don't seem in line with all of the amenities. Do you think maybe people are just EXPECTING too much???

Are the Springhill Suites beds really "double beds" and not "queen beds"? I'd find it hard to fit two adults in a "double" bed.

NO, they are Queens.

I will be staying at the Radison resort orlando next Thrusday. I will post a review when I come back. If I listened to every review on tripadvisor I would stay home and no go anywhere.

I really don't think they would put this hotel on mousesavers if it was that bad.

can't wait to hear your report! I'm back to leaning toward Springhill Suites. MattM has me pretty convinced that this is the way to go. My daughter was in Orlando this weekend and stayed at the Radisson Worldgate and said she only wants to stay in LBV if we return (the kids don't know we're going for Christmas. Surprise!!!!!!!

Thanks. I will let you all know what I thought of this resort. I am a bit of a hotel snob. I am very picky. I will give you all the details next week.

It was just ok. I won't go as far to say don't stay there. The room had a very moldy smell. It wasn't just the room I smelled it in the hallways as well. I didn't think it was as great as Mousesavers made it out to be. The pool was nice with the slide but it would be nice if it was heated. Everyone was freezing in it. So who could really enjoy it.

We had breakfast included with our room. Service was just ok.

Everyone will have different opinions about the same hotel. I don't want to stay there again but some people might love it there.

I liked the Doubletree guest suites much better.

They say there have gated and secured parking but the lot was open at all times for anyone to get in.

So I really don't have anything terrible to say about the hotel I just didn't like it enough to stay there again.

I would be happy to answer any specific questions you have.
