Okay so we have never been to Disney before. I have a son and a daughter (5 and 7). We wanted to do a cinderella thing but see the only one we could do is the Gala feast (as does not count as 2). Is Cinderella here? We can not do the Epcot one as we only plan to spend one day at epcot and going to go to Le Ceillier here. Is the Gala Feast good?

We also will have to book something in for our son as I can just imagine how annoyed he will be that we are at a cinderella princess dinner:-)

So there is Chef Mickey's, or the Dinner at Liberty Tree right? Am I missing any?
I am sure I can find the answers to this if I searched but I am very overwhelmed by all the info.
Thanks!!!

There are a ton of character meals! This should help you find who you want to dine with:

Happy planning! Don't get overwhelmed, just do one thing at a time...sounds like you are planning your ADRs. Just have fun with it. Sometimes the ADRs will help you plan the rest of your trip if there are certain things that you really want to do.

A few year's back we did a Cinderella dinner at GF(5yo girl). Cinderella and Prince charming were there as well as fairy god mother and other friends. There were plenty of boys/brothers enjoying the buffet and the characters that night. 1900 Park is being renovated, but the meal is still being held elsewhere at the resort. We paid OOP when we went and I thougth it was a good deal.

We are doing Chef Mickey's in Sept, great reviews (Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Minnie and Pluto are indicated). I also considered Cape May Cafe before booking Chef Mickey's. I think each of these can be breakfast or dinner.

Since you have a son try 1900 Park Fare at Grand Floridian. You can take the boat from MK and the Monorail back or either both ways. The food is great, is 1 TS, and you see Cinderella plus Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother and two Mice (Suzy and Perla). The mice and prince charming make it not so "girly". We saw Sleeping Beauty, Belle and Sleeping Beauty at Crt as well , but we had already seen them at Akershus as well. If you aren't set on being in the castle like my DD5 was, go with GF for dinner. We had 4:40 ressies so we still had alot of time back at MK after dinner. Check out their menu on allearsnet

The dinner buffet at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) is excellent! We just ate there last week. They had a prime rib and roast turkey carving station, boiled shrimp, chicken marsala, salmon, pasta station, etc.. Yummy! The restaurant is beautiful and the kids get to see Cinderella, Prince Charming, Fairy Godmother, Suzy and Pearla. We all had a great time! I highly recommend it.

Loved the GF dinner! It was our first character meal on our first night in Disney and my DD, then 5, dressed up like Cinderella. We had plenty of time with the characters and were greeted by Goofy, and then Fairy Godmother before being seated. DD loved the time she got with Fairy Godmother and that was her favorite autograph of the whole trip. Dinner was great, lots of little boys there, Prince Charming was charming, and Cinderella was beautiful... Probably our favorite character meal memories!!

For character interaction, we think 1900 Park Fare is far superior to CRT. 1900 is a place we will go back to; CRT was a one-time deal for us.

The princess dinner at Akerhaus (Norway) is our favorite princess dinner, though. We've been there three times already, and we always enjoy it.

Looks like we will do the 1900 Park Fare one. Thank you for all the comments.

Good luck and allow a little time to just stroll the Grand Floridian its beautiful grand resort. It poured the night we were there and I still left with that impression!

We are going to Narcoossee's this trip and plan to arrive early to actually see the grounds and views onsite. I think my mother fantasizes about staying there, perhaps some day!
