Please help - re:AAA =no VISA deferred deal

I just called AAA to book my trip and they said I should call Disney Visa to make sure I will qualify for the 6 month no payment plan. I called Chase Visa and they said "no" - only travel booked through Disney vacations qualifies, but I know people on here said it could be done. Please help! Has anyone booked through AAA and gotten the pay nothing for 6 months deal with Chase? Thanks so much!

Are you booking a package? I copied this from the Chase website and it seems to me that you should be entitled

"You will automatically receive this 0% APR for 6 months for each qualifying Disney Rewards Visa Card purchase, provided that no payment on your account is past due at the time of purchase. I would assume that the AAA travel agent would book through the Walt Disney travel company.

Even though you are booking through a AAA TA, you are still paying Disney, not AAA. It will work. When your AAA agent makes a call, they are calling Walt Disney World, they are just in a different department.

If AAA books the room using your Disney VISA card, you get the 6 months sames as cash deal. It's no different than you booking the room, just someone else using your card. If this isn't the case, then I've pulled a fast one on VISA.

I've done this too! Don't worry - it should work fine.

I've done it 2.5 times (twice for full trips and once for the deposit on my upcoming trip). Not a fast one, just the perk to which cardholders are entitled.

Thank you all SOOOO much for your help! It seems that it has worked for some and not for others, but the AAA agent said that she does work directly with Disney - so keep your fingers crossed for me. I am SOOOO excited now! Yippee! We have never been around the Christmas holidays before!
