Please Help! No more faxed requests to WL?

Is it true that the WL is no longer accepting faxed room requests? I was going to fax my request for our trip tomorrow, but now I'm thinking it will be a waste of time and long distance. Is there a reason this has changed? Would I be better off calling CRO and asking them to put the info in their computer?

Definitely call CRO and add to your ressie. I am not sure about the faxes, but just incase they don't even get to your fax, call CRO.

They changed it because they were receiving hundreds of faxes every day due to Internet Forums and Guidebooks suggesting it. It got so bad they were just throwing them away as they did not have time to read them. Some were pages long and included photos.

We never fax, we note our request when we book and discuss options at checkin.

WL does not accept room request faxes anymore. Just note your requests on your reservation. They are very good at trying to accommodate requests.
