I'm looking at mobile phones, I'm currently on o2 but will change if I can find a better deal.

I have the original iphone 3G but a little bored of iphone

Got no idea what to get, looked at
Sony Ericsson xperia x10, mini, and pro,
Samsung wave
Htc desire
Nokia n8

Has anyone got these so can give honest opinion rather than salesman pitch!!

My DF has the HTC Desire and it's a great phone. He has the original, not the HD updated one.

He's not had any problems with the phone, it's straightforward to use and most of the apps that are available for iPhone are available for the Desire.

Charging wise (I guess depends on your usage) he puts it on every other day and it's usually fine.

I'm actually due an upgrade at the weekend and this is more than likely the phone I'll be getting, unless I can blag the updated HTC Desire HD

I just got the desire and like it a lot. Cheaper contract than an iphone but not sure it will solve boredom problems!

htc desire is a cracking lickle beauty ..... some very good deals online and with cash back at the moment (i'm sure you know where to look), also good deals with the xperia 10 too

Another vote for the HTC Desire - I love mine. Easy to use and has pretty much the same Apps as the iPhone and more becoming available all the time as the Android os becomes more and more popular.
