Please help my DH with his Blackberry and Mac!

MY DH is very frustrated trying to get his Blackberry Curve to sync with his iCal. He has asked the pros at the Apple store but they all use the iPhone. Since the DIS has such a diverse group of talented folks I told him him I would post it here to see if anyone can help.

He has tried Mark/space, Pocket Mac, Gmail without success. He is not really able to switch to the iPhone due to service provider and work issues. Does anyone here have any suggestions for him for a solution or another place to look for assistance? TIA.

Also I'm not sure if this would work, but perhaps he can sync with google calendar and that can sync with the blueberry

I didn't click the link, but I have a Mac and a BB Storm, and I do the following:

Open iCal
Export the calendar to my desktop
Go to my Google account
Upload that exported calendar to Google, then use Google Sync on my BB to sync with my Google calendar.
He can download Google Sync by going to this link on his phone: www.google.com/mobile/blackberry/sync.html
