Hi all... I will be in Disney on Sunday August the 8th and it happens to be a Magic Kingdom EMH where the park will be open until 2 am.:cool1:.. I wanted to take my Momto the California Grille for her birthday at around 9:30. I have two questions.. the first- When will Wishes start that night since the park is open later? Second- Since my reservation will be around 9:30 I wont be able to head backto the park until around 11:30... do they still let you back into the park or do you have to be in the park before closing to enjoy EMH? Thanks a lot I appreciate it greatly!

10:00 PM Summer Nightastic! Fireworks Show (Entertainment) is what the WDW calender shows, no Wishes. You can get into the park at any time as long as you are an on property guest for EMH. Have fun!!

The fireworks are at 10:00 p.m. that night (they don't do the fireworks later because it's an EMH night...they do the fireworks before the regular park closing time.)

If you are staying at a Disney hotel, your KTTW card (room key card) will prove you're entitled to EMH, so they will let you in at 11:30, no problem. You do not have to be in the park before EMH starts.

If you don't have a reservation yet, suggest you book it soon!

Thanks guys!!... I was just on the site and a 9:40 opened up so I am going to book it now! Soo excited!::banana:

I would keep looking for an earlier time if you plan on watching any fireworks from CG. If you have a 9:40 ADR, a lot of people tend to extend their meals as long as they can so they can watch the fireworks. With a 9:40 ADR you may not sit for almost an hour after your ADR and maybe even later. If you eat earlier and keep your receipt you will be allowed back up to CG to watch the fireworks even if its hours after you are done eating. Just something to keep in mind. Enjoy :thumbsup2

That's a very good point! There are going to be people who hang around just so they can see the fireworks. Consider making your reservation for 9:20 or something around there - a time when people will still be heading back to the park to see the fireworks.
