Hi everyone, I am very new to this board. I am planning the big trip to WDW for my family and would love peoples advice on what are must see and do's at the park.
Here is a little background. We are planning on going the week of Thanksgiving in 2007 (The Saturday before to the Saturday after, we'll be driving down from Ohio). My family is me (34), dh(32), son (8) and daughter (6), mil (58), fil (60), bil (36) and maybe his girlfriend (33) and her son (2), depending on if they are still together. All ages are for November 2007.
My daughter loves the disney princesses and my son loves animals, pirates, mainly just boy kind of stuff.
We are looking at getting 3 rooms at one of the moderates, or maybe a family suite and 2 rooms at the Music value resort, depending on if you can get single rooms next to family suits. Any advice on accomodations would be greatly appreciated.
The last time I was at WDW was on my honeymoon ten years ago, but we had to leave after two days because my father very unexpectedly passed away and we had to get back for the funeral. So pretty much that whole trip is a blur to me.
So, I am asking people's advice on things I need to make sure I see and do while I'm there. Not so much about the rides, but about all the extra things that make disney so magical. Things my six year old daughter will love and my 8 year old son will love. Events that we shouldn't miss, stuff like that. I'm researching on these boards, but there is so much, it can get quite overwhelming.
Thanks for any and all advice.
