I am traveling in November (first trip to WDW with kids) with my 2 dds ages 4 and 7. We are staying at Baylake Towers at the Contemporary. This is my first pass at an itinerary. Can you give me your opinions?

Day 1: Arrive in Orlando at 4:30pm. Check in to hotel and then do Chef Mickey for dinner
Day 2: MK all day - Dinner at Be our Guest (if I can get reservations)
Day 3: HS in the morning. Afternoon in Epcot Dinner at Epcot Rose and Crown to see the fireworks
Day 4: MK again in the morning. Epcot in afternoon Dinner somewhere else in Epcot? Somewhere else entirely?
Day 5: Animal Kingdom morning Lunch at Bonu. We leave WDW late afternoon-driving to other part of FL so no flight to catch.

Should I see the Fantasmic show at HS? Please give me advice. I dont know if I'm spending too much time at one park and not enough at another. Again my dds are young 4 and 7, so not sure how much we are limited in what rides we can go on etc...

Day 3: HS in the morning. Afternoon in Epcot Dinner at Epcot Rose and Crown to see the fireworks Fireworks won't be until 9:00 - can your little ones eat dinner that late? Also, there's no guarantee that you'll get a table with a view of fireworks. With kids that young, I'd eat elsewhere earlier in the evening, then get a snack and stake out a good spot along World Showcase to watch the fireworks.
Day 4: MK again in the morning. Epcot in afternoon Dinner somewhere else in Epcot? Somewhere else entirely?
Day 5: Animal Kingdom morning Lunch at Bonu. Do you mean Boma? That's at Animal Kingdom Lodge, not the park, and I don't think they serve lunchWe leave WDW late afternoon-driving to other part of FL so no flight to catch.

Fantasmic depends on the kids. Some little ones find it scary, but mine liked it. With such a short visit, I'd probably skip Fantasmic and spend more time doing rides.

Arriving at the airport at 4:30 then assuming dinner at Chef Mickey is a challenge. You have to get to the resort and checked in, and may have tired little ones. I would plan on a casual dinner, not a table service dinner for young kids that night.

I'd say day 5 isn't leaving much time at all for animal kingdom! Do you have a rental car? Boma is not at the theme park, but rather at the animal kingdom lodge resort and it doesn't serve lunch.

I would scale back on MK and plan at least a good day from 8am to 2 or 3pm at animal kingdom.

PS: Hope you're bringing a stroller!!

It looks pretty good. We went for the first time last year and only had 4 days and it was tough, we park hopped and didn't feel like we got much done because of it. If you dont need to take breaks mid day then you should be able to get a lot done in the ams. On day I think three where you are at MK in the am and then Epcot in the afternoon and possibly for dinner. I'd eat dinner at Epcot rather than finding another place to travel too. That way if you eat at say 5 or 6 you can still enjoy epcot afterwards. Have fun!!!

If you are taking the Magical Express and don't arrive at MCO until 4:30pm I too wouldn't plan a sit down dinner. We were not at our resort until after 3pm and our flight landed about noon. You have to wait for the bus to fill at MCO before it leaves for the resorts and then it depends on which resort you are staying at because each bus has multiple resorts to drop people off at.

Early mornings after late nights are rough. We loved the fireworks but even at my daughters' ages they were exhausted in the mornings. Though you have an advantage of being within walking distance of MK so you could walk back for a rest if needed.

Hi everyone
OK based on your comments what about this itinerary?
Day 1- Do Nothing. We land at 4:30pm. Maybe just catch the fireworks from the hotel after casual dinner probably in the room.
Day 2 - All day at MK- dinner at BOG
Day 3 -Chef Mickey for Bfast- Hollywood Studio late morning. Fantasmic Dinner package?? Do you guys recommend?
Day 4 - All day at Epcot- dinner somewhere in Epcot. Watch fireworks after dinner
Day 5- checkout of hotel. Animal Kingdom for as long as we want to stay there. Eat at Animal Kingdom-casual. Drive to next destination in Florida. No specific time table -can leave when park closes.

Does that sound OK? I feel like not enough time spent at MK. Should I give up one of the parks? Try to convince my husband to spend another day??:upsidedow:scratchin

I think you will want at least another 1/2 day or full day at mk, especially with kids that age. I thought your original plan was good, even chef Mickey, since you are staying at the contemporary. I am trying the f! Dinner package at Brown Derby for my upcoming trip. I've never done it before so I can't speak to it, but I decided to do it to avoid the long line/wait with my young kids. I'm also fp+ ing the parades at mk for the same reason. Whatever you decide, I hope you have a fantastic trip!

Yes if you can! Another day would give you more time to go slower!

For young kids, honestly I could skip Fantasmic.

Day 3, maybe do quick breakfast on the go and head straight to Hollywood Studios so you can do the kids' must do things (Toy Story, VOTLM, Star Tours, etc...) Then a relaxing lunch or pool break, maybe head back to MK later?
