Hi everyone,

I'm hoping you could help me use my last 4 TS credits. :thumbsup2 I've got all my other ADRs* but have added a day to my package giving me an empty spot for dinner on Wed since we are paying OOP for Planet Hollywood. It will be Me, DH, DD6 and DS5. We are not park hopping so the restaurant must not be inside another park. We are staying at Pop Century. We will be going to Animal Kingdom the day I'm referring to and it closes at 6pm. We are on the free DDP. Please let me know if more info is needed. Pizza in the room maybe?

Here's what I've got so far:

Sunday, 5/29
HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS
Backlot Express (L)
50's Prime Time (D)*

Monday, 5/30
EPCOT
Sunshine Seasons (L)
Akershus Royal (D)*

Tuesday, 5/31
ANIMAL KINGDOM
Restaurantasaurus (L)
NEED TS HERE FOR DINNER (D)

Wednesday, 6/1 (Anniversary!)
MAGIC KINGDOM
Cosmic Rays (L)
Hoop-De-Doo Show (D)*

Thursday, 6/2
MAGIC KINGDOM
Pecos Bill's (L)
Columbia Harbor House (D)

Friday, 6/3
Free Day for Downtown Disney/Resort/Park of Choice
Chef Mickey's (B)*
Planet Hollywood (D)*

Thanks for your help!

If your family likes seafood, you could try the Cape May Clam Back at the Beach Club. The buffet has crab legs, peal and eat shrimp, and other non seafood items.

Since you are going to be at Ak that day why not eat somewhere at AK? they have lots of great restaurants.. I am splurging and going to JIKO.. I have heard great things about it..

I was thinking about that and may consider Yak and Yeti, but for some reason I thought the DDP wasn't accepted or it was signature dining. Maybe I'm confused! :)

Ok, now I know why I thought it was not part of my dining plan! If you go to the Yak and Yeti page and click on View Dining Plan Information, it has a check mark by Deluxe Dining Plan; however, it says "Casual Dining" on the front page. Can someone confirm that this is a casual dining not a signature restaurant? Or I'm totally confused! :)

How about a resort hotel restaurant or Downtown Disney? You could try Raglan Road or Paradisio 37 at Downtown Disney. Or get a great value on your dining plan credit by going to a resort character meal or buffet. Boma or Sanaa if you want to stay near AK park. Or, you could take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then boat or monorail to Ohana at the Poly, or 1900 Park Fare, or Chef Mickey's. We're trying Kona Cafe at the Poly on our upcoming trip as we've heard good things about it.

Easy enough to take the monorail or boat back to the MK after dinner and catch a bus to Pop.

We LOVE the Tusker House buffet for dinner. Lots of yummy choices!!! :thumbsup2

In the AK area, we love Yak and Yeti, Tusker House, Boma and we're going to be trying Sanaa in September :thumbsup2

I'd try Boma at the AKL if the menu looks good to your family. Another fun place to eat would be Ohana's at the Poly.

I would suggest Boma in AKL. Also, Y&Y does take the regular DDP. And so does PH.

We will be there the same time and at Pop, and have kids around the same ages!!! I have Cape May booked, Ohana's, CRT, Coral Reef, Mama Melrose Fantasmic package, and Cape May. I have read great things about Cape May, and the Disney Reservation person raved about this place. We LOVE crablegs... my kiddos will eat those for HOURS!! LOL... anyway.. I don't see Wolfgang Puck's at Downtown Disney.. that is out FAVE counter service.. and bang for the buck!!! Also Flame Tree Barbeque is sooo good! We love going at the end of May, but with this free dining promo, its gonna be PACKED!! But its Disney!!!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Another vote to the Yak & Yeti our favorite dessert last year was from there- Fried Wontons - Skewers of fresh pineapple and cream cheese wontons, vanilla ice cream, honey vanilla drizzle. I don't know if you can get over to the Polynesian if so you could try to get an ADR for Ohana but this is hard to get unless you are booking 180 days out.

Wait. How many nights are you staying? 5 or 6 or 7?

Because right now based on your schedule, without a dinner on the Tuesday and with paying OOP for Planet Hollywood, you're using 5 TS and 6 QS. You have a 2 TS on Wednesday for the HDDR but on Thursday both of your choices are QS.

As far as the Tuesday at AK, look at the Yak & Yeti TS menu. If your kids like the childrens menu choices, it's easiest to stay in the park and eat there. If the kids like a wider choice, try Boma at AKL.

We are staying 6 nights, that means we each get 6 TS, QS, and S, right? I hope I haven't misunderstood. I went ahead and booked Yak & Yeti for our Animal Kingdom day which should use the last TS credit. I'm not sure we'd enjoy the menu at Tusker House.

Thanks for all the replies!

Awesome! I actually considered Cape May and I might have to reconsider it after hearing your comments on it! We love crab legs too. :) I hope it's not too terribly packed during our time but honestly I won't know the difference! :confused3 I haven't been in 20 years and we've never been as a family, so it will all be new to me!
