Hello all,

We are planning our very first Disney cruise (very first cruise ever, actually).

My spouse and I will be traveling with our 3yo twins. We would like to get two inside connecting staterooms, rather than one larger one, so that we have more sleeping flexibility with the kids.

For the cruise we are considering, there are two connecting sets of rooms available. One is in Category 10B (rooms 2083 and 2085 on deck 2) and one is in Category 10C (rooms 1075 and 1077 on deck 1). The Category 10B rooms will cost about $200 more than the Category 10C rooms. I've scoured the maps and websites, but from everything I can tell, the rooms are identical. Am I missing something? Can anyone help?

Many, many thanks in advance.

I'm assuming this is on a classic ship which I haven't been on, but the only real difference is the deck. Higher deck = higher cost

The rooms will be the same. It's the deck that is different.

Deck 1 has very few staterooms and you can only access the forward elevator and the midship elevator from that deck.

Deck 2 has many more staterooms all elevators are accessible. Staterooms (you posted) are near the laundry room and are approx. half way between the midship elevators and the aft elevators.

Additionally: midship is more expensive then forward/aft located staterooms. Even though the rooms are identical. You can check on the deck plans which staterooms are in each category.
Happy sailing!

We have sailed on the classics ships on both Decks 1 and 2. If cabins are identical then save some money and book on Deck 1.

Thanks so much everyone! I truly appreciate it! I think we'll go for Deck 1 -- $200 buys a lot of souvenirs. :) Thanks again.

I would make the same choice. We love the lower decks and the difference between Decks 1 and 2 is negligible.

Have a great cruise!

We were on deck one of the wonder a while back. We found the location on the ship to be just fine. Deck one was also quieter than deck 2, so we were happy with that.

However, or category was oceanview. All the oceanview on deck one have the 2 small port holes as opposed to the one large porthole on deck 2. We HATED the 2 small portholes.

That being said, since both Cat 10B and 10C are inside cabins, if we had to choose, 10C would be just fine.
