I signed up for a Chase Disney Visa rewards card back in October of 2012. I received an offer that if I spent $500 within the first three months, I would receive a $200 Disney gift card. I just got off the phone with a rep and she said I had not quite reached the $500 mark.. although I did remind her that when I signed up, Disney credited my card $50 as a special. She said with that information, I have reached over $500. She said I would be receiving my gift card within 6-8 weeks. I just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this and whether or not my $50 credit will make a difference, I have emailed Chase with no response.. Please help!

While I have not had that type of experience, I just wanted to let you know that if they said you would be getting the card, you should get it with no problems. Be very careful not to accidentally throw it away, though. It usually comes unmarked and looks like junk mail, so open everything you get between now and then even if it looks like nothing. Also, it will probably take less than 6 weeks. If you also need to gain access to your earned reward dollars, be sure to order your redemption card at least 3 weeks prior to the date you need it.
