We are arriving at AKL 11/01/09 at 1:00 PM and leaving early 11/07/09, 2 adults and DD11. I just booked today and got the free DDP. Where should we eat our 6 TS meals? :confused3 We are not picky eaters, not into character meals or big breakfasts and do have park hopper. Live vicariously through me and help plan our meals :goodvibes

:welcome:

For our first trip, these were some of our favorites:

1) Le Cellier: A great steak meal for just 1TS

2) 50's Prime Time Cafe: It was so much fun with the nagging waiters, plus great home style cooking. I highly recommend having the Dad's Sundae for dessert.

3) Hoop Dee Doo Revue: This is 2TS but if your able to do it, it is worth 2TS. The show was so fun and the food was great. I think everyone should try this their first time to WDW.

4) Whispering Canyon Cafe: This was a surprise for us. We weren't originally scheduled to eat here but our Luau got rained out. We ended up loving the food and the antics that go on.

Just a few of our favorites. Hope you have a great time and let us know where you decide to eat!

welcome a-board! I am new too and am driving myself nuts trying to figure out which park on which day so I can book my TS ADR's! We arrive Nov 3rd-13th...see ya around the parks!

Boma buffet dinner at Animal Kingdom Lodge was great, lots of variety and new dishes. Ohana at the Poly was my husband's absolute favorite. We also loved Mama Melrose at DHS with our Fantasmic Dining Package! Epcot has lots of great choices, you'll find Le Cellier and Teppan Edo the most mentioned. We stepped outside the box and tried Marakesh in Morocco, won't be back. Wasn't bad, just wasn't that great... Plus it was hot, and the menu didn't appeal, seemed more like winter comfort food to us!

Thank you for all the help so far. I hope they post park hours before my 90 day window on Aug. 3rd so I can narrow down where we will be each day.

I have heard great reviews about Ohana's in the Polynesian! That was a definite one for us!:yay:

popcorn::

We did DDP for the first time in 2007. It was awesome. Loved nine dragons in EPCOT, best Chineese food ever. Going back this year. Sci-Fi Dine in DS was cool. Just like going to a drive in. Mama Melrose in DS was great for italian. Try the character breakfast at Cystal Paace in MK. All you can eat plus characters!

Make sure you book well in advance. If you don't do it before you arrive go to the check in desk first day and book all days. Be prepared to compromise. Enjoy! :)

See if you can get a late dinner at the Royal Table - about 9:30ish. That way you can dine and watch the fireworks right out the window! DH and I did that without realizing it during our honeymoon and it was really cool!

Go to allears.net and click on dining at the top. On the left hand side you will see "the menus". Click on that and it will take you to a listing of every restaurant and you can click on each one to see their menus and prices. It is a great way to get ideas of where to go.

We are staying at BC the exact same dates as you in November!

We stayed at AKL 2 trips ago, in 2005 & it's still our fave resort. But DS16 & DS13 are older now and BC location is awesome.

Our faves, considering when mine were 11-
Boma (take advantage since you're staying right there.)
Brown Derby (more adult but great for lunch with outside seating)
Flying Fish Cafe (then enjoy Boardwalk & BC/YC area)

I'll be with you online making ADRs on the 3rd!
