Okay, I've narrowed it down to 3 choices for DH's birthday dinner on a Friday in June. I won't tell anyone about his birthday, because he embarrasses easily, and it may well ruin our trip.

Would also like it to be enjoyable for the kids, 10 & 4. Choices are: Narcoosee, California Grill, or O'hana. What would you pick for a special dinner, and why?

I have only eaten at O'Hana's but I have heard the other two or wonderful too. Wow that is a tough decision!!!

If it is just you and DH, I would go to Narcoosee at
fireworks time. The food is very good and the atmosphere is great. If your two children are going, then I would go to O'hana's.
They serve the food much faster and they have entertainment for the children.

We loved Narcoosee's, the food was fantastic, and they are fairly kid friendly as well. :)

We had a great seat overlooking the lagoon and Cinderella's castle, so that was a big attraction. And they have paper tablecloths on the table that the kids can color on, which was a lot of fun for them.

Enjoy!

Well, if I was being surprised for my birthday, I would hope it would be at Narcoossee's or California Grill. Both have great food and great views. Both are very child friendly. I would look at their menus and pick which one has a menu that would most appeal to your husband. Have fun!

I've eaten at two of the three, Narcoossee's and Ohana's and I'd recommend Narcoossee's hands down. It's a much nicer restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. The food is fab, and it's a great restaurant to bring kids too. Good luck!!!

I resommend the CG!
Try and coordinate you PS with the MK fireworks.
You can request a MK window table when making PS but they cannot guarentee it. Call CG prior to dinner and explain its a special day. Or so up a little early and at ck-in request a MK window table and tell them you will wait. Then order a drink at the lounge or walk outside at the observator walkway and enjoy the view.

i recommend cg (i've been to cg and ohana's).

when we went to wdw for our honeymoon, i had it noted on all of our ps's that we were honeymooner's. several restuarants did something special, but CG really went the extra mile. we had a great waiter, great food, great view. it was really an outstanding and enjoyable meal. :)
