Hi Everyone
I have Crystal Palace booked at 4:30 for the night of MVMCP. It will be 4 adults. I just read some not so positive reviews on CP. Has anyone been there recently? I am thinking that maybe I should switch to Kona Cafe. Any reviews or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. BTW - I have never been to CP for dinner just breakfast.
Thanks again !!!!!

They are both great!

The food quality at Kona Cafe is better, but the Crystal Palace ambiance is more fun and you will also have plenty of food options to choose from there. It should also be mentioned that you would likely appreciate the convenience of already being in MK for the start of the party.

There are always mixed reviews for any restaurant... do not let them scare you away from the CP! Given that you are attending the MVMCP, I think it is the more convenient option. Do try Kona another time, though! We love it. :)

Honestly, for the cost, I would eat a late lunch at Kona on the way over and do a CS at the party. The pricing for CP is just outreageous for what it is.

Thanks... the latest lunch I can get at Kona Cafe is 2:30pm. My other thought is that we will be in Epcot that day. Maybe I should eat there. I can get a 2:00 or 3:10 at Via Napoli. We are staying at the Boardwalk so we can go back to the hotel and change for the night.
I hate to spend so much money on the CP buffet if the food is not great.
Thanks again !!!!

Any more reviews on Crytal Palace? Do you think the restaurant will be decorated for Christmas because it is a party night?
Thanks everyone !!!

Hi OP!

We've been to CP, Kona and Via at various times this year and would absolutely recommend Via for a party of four adults. The atmosphere is light and bright with high ceilings and hardwood floors, service is great and we really enjoyed the food. We highly recommend the caprese salad and the pizza! CP dinner is just OK, and we were only there for our youngest son to meet the characters (although the salads and desserts were good, it's not on our rotation.) I do really enjoy Kona, so that's my second choice of the options you are considering. But if you're staying at BWI, you could easily get to a Via ADR and then hop on the monorail to MK when you're ready.

Good luck with your decision and have a great time!!
