Hi all,
We leave in 49 days :cool1:!!
We made or ADRs back when we hit 180 days, but then decided to add the dining plan. I did some math and realized we would come out better with the plan. So....now I need to add 2 more TS. I originally needed 3 more, but I was able to snap up a breakfast ressie at H&V once I realized Doc and Sofia were there.
Here is what I have so far:

Saturday, arrival day
6:50 at O'hana

Sunday
no TS ressies. We are planning to be in EPCOT that day. We are hoppers, so we probably won't spend the whole day there. We are open to a lunch ressie in EPCOT, or even a dinner ressie somewhere else or even DTD.

Monday
8:05 at Tusker House

Tuesday
11:45 at Sci-Fi Dine In

Wednesday
12:45 at Via Napoli

Thursday
no TS, but do have a ressie at BBB at 3:00 and then the Tomorrowland Terrace Wishes Desert party

Friday
H&V at 9:10
considering Whispering Canyon here??

Any input? My sister is really picky, so won't really go for anything unique in the WS. I'm thinking of booking HDDR if I can snag something at 6:30 one of our nights. Any input? We don't want to do signature, we have 4 small kids between the 2 families and they won't go for that!

Thanks for any input!

We really love the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway at Epcot. We like to do a few things in Future World at rope drop, then have a late breakfast around 10:30. This way we don't need lunch either, just a snack in the afternoon.

We also love Chef Mickeys for dinner, it's a must on every trip for us. The food is average buffet fare, but the atmosphere just screams WE'RE AT DISNEY WORLD! to us :)

One other character meal I would recommend is Crystal Palace. We have tried all 3 meals there and while breakfast is our favorite we did enjoy them all. And the Pooh characters are a lot of fun. Most people like to do breakfast here before the park opens, but we also like to do the late breakfast plan like I mentioned above. It's great to hit a bunch of rides at rope drop then stop for a nice late breakfast/brunch.

If you are looking for something at DTD, we love Raglan Road for dinner! There is a large enough selection that even the pickiest eaters in our group find something they like, and the dancing and music are a lot of fun for the kids.

We have never been to Rainforest Cafe or T-Rex, but those may be worth looking into as well.

Hope this helps, good luck!

You have some good restaurant picks already. Here's are my suggestions:

Akershus for dinner at Epcot: we enjoy the cold bar offered before your entree. It has assorted salads, cheeses, breads, cold meats, salmon, shrimp, etc. I love the mushroom filled pasta as my entree. Delicious! They have the standard pizza, hot dog, etc. for kid's choices. The princesses are also there.

1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian: good variety of options on the buffet, something for everyone, tasty meal and Cinderella and the stepsisters are there. Excellent character interaction!!!

I believe HDDR is two TS credits, so if you manage to book that, it'll use up the two credits you're looking to use.

If you don't get HDDR, I like to choose my TS options based on where I am that day. The suggestions from the other posters are all very good: I, too, agree that the breakfast at Crystal Palace is a nice way to kick off a MK day (but only if your ADR is before park opening and not on a morning EMH day). The fare at Chef Mickey's is very blah buffet compared to other buffets I've eaten at, but you do get to see the Fab 5, so it is very much a "WE'RE AT DISNEYWORLD" kind of experience, for sure.

On our recent trip, I was most impressed by our character interactions at H&V. They were not even characters my DS was familiar with, but we were there early and the place is not even full, so the characters really have time to interact with the kids, both at your table and during the various dancing routines. It was a lot of fun.

However, our best meal was at Sanaa. The server was a bit stern, but our food was pretty fab. We double-ordered the bread service and then didn't have room for our entrees, lol.
I also liked our dinner at Akershus. The cold buffet appetizer course was really great and we filled up on that, so barely had room for entrees (sound familiar?). We took our leftovers home and our entree of rack of lamb was still delicious 2 days later when we ate it in our plane ride home (don't worry: we had a cooler, and it had been in our fridge, so it had not turned. and it was near freezing at WDW to boot, keeping our food cold, lol).
