Please help me pack for my Dec.trip??

We will be arriving on 12-18 for our first holiday trip! I am wondering though, what to pack?? Is it warm or cold? Shorts or pants?? We will be staying 6 days/ 5 nights and I want to pack light! Any suggestions??

I've asked this same question once before, the answer that I got was...tada!...pack for everything!! I plan on taking 3 pants, 3 capris, 2 shorts, handful of tees and a couple of long sleeved shirts/sweatshirts. At most places you stay they have laundry facilites that I plan on using if I have to.
