Please help me get our Disney stay as cheap as possible!

hi elaine
not sure if you remember me,its nadya-we chatted a few times on cosy nostra?
Anyway, lovely to see you here, and a new baby too:)
We have 9 now-youngest dexter is 21 months:).
We love disney too-our 6th trip is october. We stayed at old key west last sept for dexters 1st birthday,it was fab!.
What i was getting to was we booked for next oct with florida escapes-all the same extras as disney, but 800 cheaper:).Might be worth getting a quote? also we had a 2 bed villa at old key west and it was fab!,great to have all the space and disney perks too.we were going to get 2 rooms at riverside, but the 2 bed villa was the same price. Also i know its full ddp at old key west, but you can use the table credits at counter service places if u like(we did a couple of times)-then no tips or sorting reservations:thumbsup2
nice to 'hear ' from you

Hey Nadya - wow what a surprise to see you here! I hope all is well with you guys :) Thanks for the tips, it's something I'll look in to.

Right now I'm griping about flight costs - I hadn't realised that my eldest counts as an adult now! Even as a child the prices are HUGE.

Aha! I have figured out the standard view problem!

There's some issue with our second week with the dates 20-27th May 2014. If I move my dates a week earlier - so 6-20th May - everything is fine and standard view shows.
If I want the dates I've asked for, it only gives me garden or river views as an option.

It's weird, but at least I feel like I've made some progress! I'll be phoning about it tomorrow to check.

yep, flights are the killer!.we are going indirect this year as it was so much cheaper. If you are thinking of may,you often get good deals at the beginning to mid month. We went 10-24th may in 2010 and got flights for £199 each-we did book last minute though.
hope all is well with you too-a few things going pearshaped here, the thought of a holiday is what keeps me going!
