Please help me get excited for Pop Century

We have stayed at POP the last 3 years going on 4. We love it. No it isn't the Royal rooms at POR. I would love to stay in one. But cost is a factor since we go for a longer amount of time.

Yes, we do get the GAC and that is very helpful. I don't know what I'd do otherwise.

As long as there are games and activities by the pool during the day, my daughter should be happy doing that. I'm hoping my son will be content just to swim. The playground is a possibility but I'm not sure it would hold their interest. Ping Pong definitely would, though. So would the arcade. For my daughter, anyway. My son is sort of a lost soul, poor love. He's very much on the go, and can be aggressive, and doesn't care to play by the rules in just about any situation. So he doesn't "play" in the typical way. I have to be careful and be right with him, because he could pinch, scratch, bite, hit or kick another kid.

I try my best to keep him within reach for that reason. But if my daughter is engaged in games and activities, I can keep an eye on my son.

Hippy Dippy pool is the best. Find a lounge chair and watch the kids enjoy!

OP, I am sorry for your situation. That must be difficult.

I do want to reassure you about the pool activities, though, which went on constantly from about 1-6pm when we stayed at Pop last Dec. it got to the point where my husband and I were wondering if the fun and games (and loud) for kids would EVER end!

I think any child would be happy to stay there and find plenty to do. Hope you have fun!

I'm so sorry about you and your BF. I hope things will work out for you and the kids.

It's great that you are still taking the kids with you, even if it's by yourself. I think the kids will enjoy POP. It is a fun place to be! If you're at the resort around 6pm, you will see the CMs dance to "The Hustle". I'm sure everyone has already mentioned what POP has to offer, so I won't repost them.

You and your kids are welcome to stroll over the bridge to AoA and check out the new resort. You can also eat at their food court. Don't forget to take the camera, there's plenty of pics opportunities there!

Tie Dye cheesecake for the kids will surely cheer them up! Yumm!! You guys will have a wonderful time!!
