please help me find a cheap and safe place to stay

i need a cheap and safe place to stay that has free transportation to universal. I have 6 of us i do not want to spend more than 750-800 for 9 nights. I am so scard of finding a crappy place i need help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haven't stayed there, but this Doubletree is listed in the back of Universal Orlando, The Ultimate Guide by Kelly Monaghan as the closest to the parks.

My daughter stayed at the Holiday Inn across from City Walk and she really liked it. She joined the Priority Club before hand and was upgraded to a suite at check in. It's close enough to walk to Universal. I don't remember exactly what the rate was, seems like around $80.00. It was an internet rate available on their website.

Funny you should ask...I searched through hundreds of websites, just puting in Orlando villas and weeding through them until I found the perfect house, and now I'm not really sure which website I found it through...obviously one of the direct owner listed ones.

We're going with extended family and you wouldn't believe all the requests I had...fishing lake, jacuzzi, pool table, grill, baby gates, carpet (no tile) Disney themed rooms, and Monday to Monday rental, yeesh, couldn't believe it when I found it, really felt like a miracle, LOL! The owner has been great, sent me a reminder when the balance was do and was quick with answers to my questions.

I've used orlando-villa.com in the past and that one is great because you can list all the amenities you want, and the owners will email you back their websites with pictures and prices, and they'll usually offer you a better deal than what's listed, like a 4 bedroom at a good price because you only need a 3 bedroom, especially if they're trying to fill the spot you need. We also got a great deal on this one 2 years ago.
