So if my UY is June, can I book Thanksgiving week 2014 in just a few weeks? I don't think so, but my DH is insistent. I won't gloat if I'm right, but we are so new to DVC (haven't even taken our first trip "home" yet) that I certainly don't have all the rules down. Since I'm the planner of the family, knowing do's and don'ts are crucial. Thanks!

The farthest out you can book your home resort is at the 11 month window so you've got about a month until you can book for Thanksgiving 2013. You've got another year until booking for the 2014 holiday.

the other poster is correct for booking being available at your home resort at 11 months out.

i just wanted to add that UY has nothing at all with when you can call to book. you can book thanksgiving 2014 at 11 months out whether your UY is feb, june or december. 11 months is still 11 months. (you would just be using different UY's pts if you had a dec UY rather than a june UY.)
