Hi everyone,

My family is making our first trip to WDW in November, where I will be running the Wine & Dine 1/2 marathon. We arrive on the 9th and will not have enough time to hit the expo that day, which means I need to do it on the 10th.

We are staying at AKL. We have ADR's for Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort for 9:35am on the 10th. From there I need to get to ESPN WWOS for the expo.

There is no bus from AKL to Contemporary. The special event buses to the expo only run from host resorts, so there won't be one from the Contemporary. Host resorts include the All-Stars, Caribbean Beach, Saratoga Springs, AKL, Beach Club, and Boardwalk.

Please tell me the quickest and easiest way to get from our resort to the restaurant and then down to the expo! I'd prefer not to pay for taxis, if I can avoid it.

To get to breakfast, take the MK bus and you can either walk to the Contemporary (my choice) or take the resort monorail.

To get to ESPN (without a cab), I'd probably walk back to MK and take a resort bus to one of the resorts that has a bus to ESPN (definitely not AKL, though).

Not sure if there are any other faster (free) ways to do it.

Ask the driver where the bus is going next before you get off. It might just be headed to the CR.

I think BW would be the most direct and simplest transfer. If the bus stops at BC on the way to BW, get off there instead.
