please help me decide

my family and i are going thru extreme disney withdrawl

we have a dec 2005 trip planned but are thinking of squeezing in a trip before that..

as a child my family always went to florida in august --- thus i equated florida to he*l ( due to the heat) and all i remember was the long lines to get on the rides---
so as an adult i rebelled and only go during the school year( school has no problem with pulling the kds out)

but i want to go to disney!!!!!!!

if we do go in the summer what is the best week to go--- least crowds---
best stradegies????

Hi! We always go within the last two weeks of August throught he Labor Day wekend, and have never ahd a problem. Yes, it is hot out there, but if you plan your breaks and don't push yourself too much, you'll be fine. We also make sure to take advantage of the extra hour in the morning and of course, alot of fastpasses. I have not experienced the evening magic hours yet so I can not comment on those. No matter what, you are in Disney and you'll always have a good time. Good luck!

how are the crowds that 3rd week in august are they very long
