Help me please!! Ok long story short, very very stressful situation, husband says lets go in March (ya short notice!!) just to get away from the cold and stress. So we always stay at deluxe resorts, went through the disney.com website to find what is available and only thing coming up is AKL at a hefty hefty price. We are a family of 5, and what I am really interested in knowing is what discounts are available, is it cheaper to book through another site, and I have read here that it is cheaper to book room and flights separately. So far the quote from disney is at over $5g for savannah room and over $6g for savannah room with concierge. We are planning a one week stay. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! ps husband almost fainted when I told him the price, lol. Suppose he would get over it! Would consider other resorts, but most balk at the 3 kids, even though two of them are 7 and share a bed quite comfortably with big brother.
Thanks!!

Use code CTN or CPC (good for stays 2/12/04-4/17/04). Expires on 2/9/04, so hurry!

Hi - if I were you, I'd check the Spring Deal Codes on Mousesavers because I'm sure you can get a better rate on the room. When I was looking for my upcoming trip in April, I got a Savannah Room for 5 nights I believe for approx. $1300 or so with the code. That didn't include air or park passes but still that's a much better price than 5 or 6g lol !!! I would get the code from Mousesavers before 2/9 (I think that's when the current code expires). I think you'll get a much better deal.

Good Luck!!

Hey, imallset!!

With code CTN or CPC, 6n/7days @AKL, Deluxe Sav. view would be approx. $1762. If you bought 5-day Hopper Plus passes, you would have 7 days worth of WDW for about $1263. That's just over 3g, then you might get lucky on airfare through the airline website! Much better than 5-6g!!:sunny:

Check out allearsnet.com as well as mousesavers for great money-saving tips and planning tools.::yes::

Thank you thankyou all! now for my really dumb question! Ok I use the code, but where?? Would I get this discount through the website, or is it best to just call?? I just went on Expedia, and I can get the room only for around $1900 but, and its a big but, on expedia vs. disney.com it is saying ONLY 4 PEOPLE for a savannah room?? Now on the main disney site, it says deluxe savannah room will accomodate 5. Grr, so confusing. I did find great flight prices through Southwest so I would go with them and I would imagine that the park passes (ultimate is what we always get) the disney site would be my best bet. I guess I am not too travel savvy this time  Usually I am able to find the best deals, but with time not being on my side, I really need help.
Could completely live with the entire trip going for around 5g. Thanks so very much and am I ever glad I found this site :D

Hi Imallset,

I would call Disney directly and tell them you want a room to accomodate 5 people at AKL using the spring deal and just give them the code letters. Usually just giving one code will do!! Me and my dd 10, are staying at either PO-FQ or Coronado this coming April for 6 nts. We're sharing a room with a friend and her dd but I'm hoping with spending $, this trip will cost me under $2500 :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Can't wait and best of luck to you.

Hi,
If you go to the reservations page on Disney.com and scroll the whoooole way down to the bottom of that page and click on "special offers" then on the next page click on "spring resorts savings" then on the next page click on the teeny tiny "book online" link then plug in all your info that will give you the same rate as the calling with a code.
I plugged in a couple dates (I dont know what yours are) and I only came up with Poly for the first week of March for $2575 the second week I came up with nothing at all available. Moral of the story get on the stick (I sound like my mother:rolleyes: ) and book something because theres not much left!!!

By the way I agree with the other posters that you will save a ton of cash with buying park hopper plus tickets rather than buying ultimate park hoppers. Mousesavers suggests some reputable online ticket brokers.

Here's the little secret Disney doesn't tell people.

If you look up the code rate for the week that you are going and it isn't available, try a night by night search. Chances are that some to most of the nights are available with the code. Call Disney and break apart the reservation into however many you need to get the code rate for the nights it is available and the rack rate on the other nights.

I have 3 reservations for my upcoming stay at WL because the 2nd night is not available at the code rate. So:

Res. 1 - 1 night code rate
Res. 2 - 1 night rack rate
Res. 3 - 5 nights code rate

If that second night becomes available at code rate, I will book it and CRO will combine the reservations.

DO NOT BOOK AIR THROUGH DISNEY. YOU CAN PROBABLY DO BETTER ON YOUR OWN.

Definately call Disney directly. Tell them you would like to use the code and the dates you want to go.

1-407-WDisney. It is usually cheaper to buy the room seperate and then do park hoppers.

Good luck.

You should be able to go for well under $5,000.

I booked 2 rooms yesterday at Pop Century for May using this toll free number that I found from this message board:

1-877-939-3732

I guess Disney doesn't advertise it much....but, I went right through and after about 3 minutes on hold, I was connected to a Disney representative and booked my trip.

Good Luck.....

Just thought I would explain the difference between "Sav. view" and "deluxe sav. view" from your earlier question. Only 4 people can stay in std. sav. view due to the smaller sq. footage (344)- deluxe sav. view (381 sq. ft.)is the only sav. view where you can have 5 people - there are also deluxe pool view rooms that can have 5 people.

I prefer to call CRO to book, as you are talking live w/a real person, who can check different days, different resorts, etc. And as other posters keep saying, book NOW if you want to get these codes!!!

We used to always get UPH's, but we have found that regular Hopper passes come out cheaper. If you must have UPH passes, wait until you get to your resort to purchase, then you can drop off either the first, last or first & last days of your trip. In other words, you don't pay park admission for a day when you get in late or the day you return home, if you have an early flight!!:sunny:
