Please help me decide!

We are planning a trip in September and hoping for Free Dining. I keep going back and forth between POR and CSR. Have never been to either resort but we have stayed at POFQ before and we have also stayed at Pop, which I wouldn't be opposed to either. I tried to price everything out and CSR would be about the same price as upgrading the dining plan at Pop. POR a little more. We are a family of 5 (me, dh, dd 10, dd6, and dd1). My main issue would be bussing. I would like something easy since we have a stroller.

You may not get to decide. If free dining does come out in September, POR is probably going to be very hard to get. At least it was last year.

I would go with a standard at CSR since you are planning to upgrade the dining plan if you stay at Pop. We liked the bus stop at Cabanas. It was never too crowded. Try to avoid the bus stop at the front of the resort. It gets very crowded at the main bus stop going to the parks.

Thanks for your advice! I have never been during free dining so it is making me a little anxious lol Would you recommend booking now and changing the reservation when it is announced or waiting until it is announce to book?

If you are going regardless of free dining, book now. If you are dependent on free dining, wait. There are a limited number of rooms they release for free dining. If too many people book now with hopes of free dining, it may not get offered at all if rooms are already booked up.

Given your choices you are going to ride buses no matter where you stay. CSR and POR both have multiple stops, Pop on has one, that is the only difference. As far as the stroller, it's going to be the same at Pop as at CSR or POR. I've stayed at both resorts and while POR is my favorite of all the moderates, the CBR then CSR I wouldn't hesitate to stay at CSR again (as a matter of fact I am this March) if the price is right.
