Please help me decide!

I am so torn and we only have two weeks left!

MK day we will hit RD at 7 am so after dinner we'll tour the resort we eat at, then head back to our resort. I have
Boma at 5 pm OR
1900 PF at 5:20.
We don't eat seafood so I'm worried about the selection at 1900, but I think the monorail would be easier for travel.

Epcot I have
Akershus at 12:25 OR
Teppan Edo at 3:10.
Boys don't care about princesses but we can do hibachi at home.

We're on the dining plan.

If you don't eat seafood, Boma. Plus, you say the boys don't care about princesses, and that's a princess meal. Meanwhile, at Boma, you can use the night vision goggles afterwards for giraffes.

At Epcot, the food is better at Teppan Edo. Akershus is okay, but it's really about princesses.

I thought I read the night vision goggles were only for AKL guests? The boys would really like that!

I would not do 2 meals so close together on your EPCOT day. Not sure if that's what you're planning or if you're planning on giving up one of them. I have never done Akershus but my family really enjoyed Teppan Edo...even though we, too, can do hibachi at home. We all love it so it was a good pick for us. If you are looking for the princess meal, though, you can't get that at home.

It's Alershus OR Teppan Edo. Not both. Trying to decide which one. Leaning towards Akershus to see inside.

The public viewing decks are in fact public. There's a night safari that is a $$ event for Lodge guests only, but there are several viewing decks. The main deck at Jambo is out the rear of the lobby. There's another one outside that is also public access.

Boma is awesome.
I have tried Teppan Edo 3-4 times and have never really been blown away. The hibachi food is average, but it's one of the few hibachi restaurants you will visit that actually has Japanese staff!
Despite the princesses, I have always found Akershus to have better food and a more interesting environment.
