Please help me decide

My family is going to Universal from Saturday Nov 21 until Tuesday Nov 24. This is right before the
Thanksgiving holiday. We usually stay at Royal Pacific or Hard Rock for the express pass. We are thinking
of staying at Cabana Bay to save money plus it looks like a great resort. Will we be sorry without the express pass? Is this time usually crowded? Thank you!

In my experience, the parks start getting noticeably busier the weekend before Thanksgiving. I'd be hesitant to change hotels, personally.

That being said, Cabana Bay gets amazing reviews.
