Going solo for 5 days in may. Have one free day. Trying to do something "special". Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Right now thinking:
Massage and spa day (where?)
Keys to the Kingdom tour
Animal kingdom Trek Tour

I would definitely do the KTTK tour, I have it booked for my solo trip next month too and I'm so excited for it!

Can't answer on two of your choices but Keys tour is neat and I would recommend it, remember you will have to use a days ticket to enter the park to do it.
Is price an issue? If not you might want to look into the multipark "Backstage Magic Tour", its all behind the scenes, doesn't require park admission, about 7 hours long including lunch and I enjoyed it very much a few years ago (older version), its on my to do list for my next trip there in 2014 since its now all 4 parks and a different location for lunch. If you are a fan of Disney, its a great choice and you get some of the same info on the MK as the Keys tour plus see the utilidors, you just don't go to any attractions like the Keys tour does.

Thanks for the responses.

I can do the spa anywhere, so I think it's tour time.

Reading reviews of the Animal Kingdom trek and Backstage Magic now.

Kinda a design and operational based guy so leaning towards the backstage tour.

Happy for any other input or ideas.
The VIP package to Parliament House is not an option. LOL

Before I could finish your first sentence, I thought KTTK tour!!! It's on my list of things to do on a future trip.......

Backstage Magic was an amazing tour. You go alllll over the resort.

If you love animals and would enjoy a different experience and the ability to talk to animal caretakers in a small sized setting then Wild Africa Trek is for you !

I did this Nov 2011 and it was MORE than AMAZING !! I will never forget it & can't wait to do it again Part of the tour is you go out on a private savannah for sample food tastings There's also a telescope there I could see the lionesses eyelashes !! How awesome is that ??

:thumbsup2

I did Backstage Magic in February the Monday after Princess 1/2 marathon. I thought it was well worth it. I believe its only offered 1 or 2 days a week these days so you may need to plan around it. There was a discount for Chase Disney Visa cardholders.

I'm trying to plan a tour for our upcoming trip. The reviews I've seen are very positive. I hope you decide on one!

I'll definitely know what I decide and what it is like.

Originially from Minnesota. Would also love a trip to Madison this summer to see Drums on Parade. 75th Anniversary of the Scouts will be incredibly Magical! That's the real tour I would love to be a part of this summer. LOL

Enjoy your solo trip! My solo vacations (which are few and far between) always include some kind of ME time.. like the spa treatment.
