I am renting points DVC and both my choices are available.

BLT Lake View ($108 more for three nights) or Beach Club

What should I choose????? It is me, DS5, DD9 and DH

We spend equal time in both parks and will be this weekend in POR, January in BW and Labor Day in GF. (Yes I am an addict)

TIA :goodvibes

I would go with BLT. You are already staying at an Epcot resort so why not try a monorail resort?

Hi Butterflygirl35,
AAAAHHH...... If only all of life's decisions were so painful! :goodvibes. I love both resorts but agree that doing a monorail resort would not only be very convenient but, also vary things up a bit. Have fun! Happy planning!

she doing a mono resort at GF per post...

any way we love poly for the views, waterparade, beach, bars, pool, boats etc. and the larger rooms.....BLT looks nice also but skyscraper look isnt as appealing to us. Never stayed CR or BLT. id love to TRY CR with MK view though.....Maybe ill be able to swing the cost before i die someday. thats a serious ouch on the wallet. i do like the decor of the rooms alot and the size.

Maybe my xmas present from santa will be to win at casino on xmas eve.. thats the plan and the casino looks like the WL. if we win anything its hopefully an upgrade to CR MKview.........:rotfl2::lmao::lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Have you considered WL with a bunk bed room? nice place ,decent transpo(kinda like BW), great atmosphere. good access options for monorail also. boat to mk to mono, boat to Cr to mono. boat to campground for hoop dee do....

Lol... :rotfl2:

You are right... But it is still a hard choice.....

Oops, I did not read closely enough! I did not realize you would also be staying at the Grand Floridian. My two favorite DVC resorts are VWL and BCV so I would also consider the Lodge . We love taking the boat to MK and have not had any difficulty with transportation to the other resorts.

Of course that is if the nights are available there. You can't lose with any of them. Good luck!!! :thumbsup2

VWL was not available. I tried :)

Out of available resorts it us between BLT and BCV...

Leaning towards BLT because of monorail but BCV saves $$$ and walk to Epcot and of course SAB...

id go BLT. . i have heard though that the studio rooms are very small even for 4...

BCV are pretty nice also. Now you see we all have a hard time choosing and sticking to it....

Both are choices wed have a hard time deciding. what time of yr???? whats the kids favorite area of WDW?

1br or a studio?

I'd go with BLT especially if a 1BR for the extra bathroom

A BLT studio is really small for 4 people. For only 3 nights, I would probably pick BLT, and just be aware that the quarters will be very close. BLT is one of our favorite resorts - the location is hard to beat.

It would be a studio as it is only three nights.

We have stayed in DVC Studios before (SSR, OKW - I know OKW is bigger) and did not feel cramped as we don't have a lot of luggage for only three nights.

We have rented a two bedroom house (offsite) in the past and both my lovely kids ended up on our bed. Our kids will not sleep in a separate room which I have learned the hard way.... But they are both tiny and slept comfortably on pull out couch at SSR

If you can spend time at the pool, I would take BCV. Your son will love it.

If you are park oriented, I would pick BLT.

I myself would pick neither! I call AKV "home". Man I love that place:lovestruc

I've stayed in both a studio at BLT and at BC. I'm not going to lie....the studios at BLT are tiny. A regular room at BC has much more space. The pool at BLT is nice, but SAB at BC is SPECTACULAR!!!!

My vote is BC. BC is my favorite resort so I'm a wee bit biased! :upsidedow
