Ok when I started this whole Dining Plan planning I thought I wouldn't find enough TS places to eat but once I read the menus I found more then I have credits for. I am staying 6 nights so I have 6 credits for each of us (me & 2 DS age 7 & 4). Here are the places I'd like to try, tell me which you would try:

Chef Mickeys Breakfast
Hoop Dee Doo (2TS) - Really want to do this show even though its 2 TS's
Sci-Fi at DHS
50's Primetime Cafe at DHS
The Garden Grill
Coral Reef
Planet Hollywood

Please help me decide! TIA

definately keep CM, CR, PTC, HDDR.
1st to go should be sci-fi and/or PH.

hth :)

Ok you gotta do the HDDR. So we're looking for 4 more....Of your choices I'd go with:

50's PTC over Sci-fi, just because the monster movies at the Sci-fi might scare your 4 year old.

I'd skip Planet Hollywood, because you can find those other places (I think you can still find them other places).

Never been to Garden Grill. Coral Reef is all about arriving early ans waiting for a tank side table.

So what have we got?

HDDR
50's PTC
Chef Mickey's
Garden Grill
Coral Reef

Yep that's what I'd go with. That's from your choices, though. I'd probably opt for other things besides CR, GG, and CM. (I'd replace with Wispering Canyon, Crystal Palace, and Cape May Clam Bake.)

I would definitely dump Planet Hollywood and either SciFi or 50's... look at the menus of the DHS restaurants and see which one is more appealing to you. If you decide to keep them all, just figure out which ones are the cheapest to pay for out-of-pocket. Sometimes it's worth it to pay for the 2TS meals OOP since it's often cheaper than paying for two separate meals OOP.

I love sci-fi, the atmosphere is great and I think your kids would love it. I Love planet hollywood because of their captin crunch chicken tenders. yum. Im also trying coral reef when i go in may. The atmosphere also looks so cool. If i were you i would probably get rid of garden grill because you already have a character meal. I hope this helped. Have fun on your trip!

From your list, my least favorite would be PH and then next would be SciFi. The rest I would keep.

If you really want to go to Planet Hollywood, go for just an appetizer or dessert. You'll have a $15 voucher in your check-in package spend that and a bit of cash to get your PH experience.

Chef Mickey's is an absolute must have with the digital camera!

Coral Reef is great too and I think the tank side tables are over rated. You will only see what floats by your table. The tank is a full wall, so if you are seated anywhere else in restaurant you'll get a view of just about the entire tank; much better in my opinion. Also if you or your kids get a bit squeamish being that close you avoid that drama. :rotfl2:

I haven't been to any of the others so I defer to others to help you there.

HDDR for sure, Coral for sure, garden grill yea! 50's...its not amazing but not horrible, and i dunno, i am going to venture off and actually say try Le Cellier if you can get a ressie

The keepers for us on your list are:

:thumbsup2 HDDR
:thumbsup2 Coral Reef

Personally, I would do O'hana or Crystal Palace for breakfast over CM.
Garden Grill was a huge disappointment for us. The food was gross. I would get rid of GG and replace it with either Liberty Tree or Whispering Canyon for your boys.

Just food for thought, happy planning!
