Please help me decide on vacation.....

DD and I where going to take 2 vacations this year.

1) In May 4 nights at disney, 4 day park hopping and the Minnie marathon.

2) In Oct 4 night wonder, MNSSHP and 1 day at the parks...this one will be about $1,000 more but a 7 night vacation

Now because of a big trip our family has decided to take in 2008 we can't afford both so DH has told me that realistically DD and I can't do both which I agree with. Problem being I don't know which one to take.

Now my question, if it was you which would you take???

I would have to ask if your heart is set on the Minnie Marathon?

If you would be disappointed to miss it, then I would choose that. If it isn't a big deal, then go for the cruise.

Same deal--is your heart set on the cruise?

We live locally and if I didn't have my present buddah belly--I could just hop over and run a race, no biggie. So personally, I'd be picking the cruise.

Yes, I do want to do the Minnie very badly, but I can also do a run here in Ontario.

DD would prefer the cruise....

Though I voted October....I change and say go in May. Ontario won't be the same if your heart is set on a Disney event. Nothing like racing 'round the world.

I chose October because I am addicted to the DCL and atleast you would be at WDW for 2 days!!!!

I picked May because if I was going to spend that kinda money to cruise on disney I would want to cruise for the 7 day not just the 4 day. Four days doesn't seem like that much time to get on the cruise ship and enjoy it. At least not to me.
