I can't make up my mind.
We'll be there 11/4 through 11/12 (8 days). Originally I was going to buy 5 days hopper w/waterpark because I thought we'll be at WDW late Friday (11/4) but only flight it's going to work for us will land on 11/4 at 8:30 am.
My original plan was:
1. Friday - We have to be at WDW before 7 pm on Friday to pick up my son's Dine & Wine Lumiere's Two Course Challenge package by 7 pm. Picking up package shouldn't take more than couple of hours which will give us almost full day to do ????????.
2. Saturday - 10K for my son and should be done by 7 am and again full day of to do ??????
3. Sunday - 1/2 marathon for myson and should be done by 8 am? There's FREE post party for Lumiere's Two Course runners at Epcot from 10 pm to 1 am (but can get in at 8 pm). Park will be closed to the public at 10 pm. He wants me to go with him which means I have to pay $79 to attend the party. I was thinking of not going because I don't think it's worth the money for me to pay $79 when I'll be at Epcot anyway on another day.
4. Monday through Friday - Since my son finished his run, I thought I would start doing my park days starting Monday and put Water park on Wednesday as my rest day. Please note I am not crazy about water park. Don't like water and hate wearing swimming suit. The only temptation to go to the water park is to take pictures of my son. So bascially I'll be doing nothing at the waterpark and be bored????
Now the dilemma! Parksavers has tickets for 7 days park hoppers with NO water parks for almost same cost as 5 days hopper w/ water park.
I can't decide if I should just get 7 days hopper and do half park days for Friday and Saturday. I can do rope drop from Monday through Friday, come back at noon to take rest/nap and then either to go to the same park or hop to another park.
My son is reminding me that how much pain I was in April because we were at the park straight 8 days (including Universal) from rope drop to closing so he thinks 7 days hopper is too much again for my feet and I should do 5 days and go to water park to rest. Feet pain was so bad I didn't enjoy my April trip and told everyone I would never go back but it's like childbirth...you forget the pain after awhile. Unexpectantly, my son invited me to go back with him this November so I decided to give another try but with different plan. Since I did most of the rides in April, rides are not my top priority so this time I want to enjoy by leisurely walk around, take rest in between, take pictures, enjoy TS food, come back to resort at noon and take nap/rest and then go back to park for fireworks and night pictures. I told him I can always rest at the resort while he is at the water park and once he comes back we can go to the park. He argument is that when am I going to see water park at Florida again?
So what do you all think? 7 days of park hoppers withouth water park or 5 days of park hopper with water park. Please note that water park is part of 5 days hopper.
Forgot to mention my son has Premier Year pass.
Thank you
