:badpc: My head is spinning!

I have a huge family (myself, dh, and our 5 kids). We are taking 2 trips... one is just for me and DH in 3 weeks and the other is for all 5 of us (4 adults, 2 children, 1 infant).

I am trying to figure out the best ticket scenario and was hoping you could help!

For our Feb trip (2 adults) we are just visiting Disney for 1 day and need hoppers. Trip is longer but we are going to "that other place" too.

For our April trip (4 adults, 2 children, 1 infant) we are visiting 2 major parks, 2 minor parks, no hoppers needed). Trip is longer but we are going to "that other place" too.

I guess I need to figure out if its cheaper to buy 2 adult 1 day hopper tickets from WDW and then buy 2 day Water Park & More for 4 adults, 2 children tickets from WDW OR 3 day + 2 free Water Park & More (which will mean unused days) from UT OR some non expiring longer length day tix since they are disappearing, hopper/no hopper, etc etc...

AHHHHH! Is anyone here better at math than me?!?:confused3

I would only purchase no-expiration if the ticket was going to be used for at least 3 separate visits. Most of the time, it is cheaper to buy separate tickets for two visits than it is to buy no-expiry on a single pass.

You need to sit down and add up the numbers. Do the math for each ticket type. Compare:
  • 2 adult 1-day hoppers ($132.06 ea. at the gate) + 2 adult 2-day MYW w/WPF&M ($248.10 ea.)
  • 2 adult 3-day hoppers w/WPF&M (no-expiry) @ $ 384.47
The rest is just red herrings.

For the kids, you buy the 2-day MYW passes w/WPF&M ($ 248.10/$ 235.37 - adult/child at the gate) unless you can find the 3-day passes cheaper somewhere.

What is a major park vs. a minor park? Never heard of those terms when it comes to WDW.

Minor parks are water parks, mini-golf, Disney Quest, what the water park fun admits you to.

As opposed to the four big theme parks.
