Hi all,

It's been a couple of years since our last trip to WDW. We've always visited in early Dec. or late Jan/ early Feb. Now we are strictly bound to the school calendar and need help figuring out the best time to visit. We are fortunate that our school has many nice week long breaks in addition to Thanksgiving and Christmas. We'd like to stay at an Epcot resort, if that matters. Here are our options: all 2014 dates

Sun. March 30- Sat. April 5

Thurs. May 29- Thurs. June 5

Sat. Sept. 13- Sat. Sept. 30

President's Week of 2015

I'm not sure which bothers me more...intense heat/humidity or huge crowds. Not a fan of either but I know sacrifices must be made in order to visit the Happiest Place on Earth! We are from Georgia so heat and humidity are nothing new, but I went in July one year and swore to myself never again! It was just too much, and that was when I was young and in much better shape.

So, what do you think? What week would you go and why? With all the changes going on, I'm feeling like a WDW newbie here.

Thanks so much for any input!! :thumbsup2

Of the dates you listed, September would be the least crowded, still hot, but not as crowded.

March and Sept will be better as far as heat goes. Sept will be better for smaller crowds.

I would choose your September dates. You will be there for the beginning of the EPCOT food and wine festival and feel like it will be less crowded than your other choices.

We went during your sept listed times & it was the least crowded time we were ever in disney! Was VERY hot while we were there though (90 every day & humid!)
That Sept time frame you have listed is an 18 day span. Can you pick any week period in that span? That might give you more options if a special discount code covers only part of that time & I imagine the later into september you get, the cooler it would get.
We have been over spring break /Easter time twice and didn't care for it - too crowded for us.
Good luck planning!

Thank you for the replies. I typed the wrong Sept. dates. It should be Sept. 13-20. I am sure those would be the cheapest and least crowded but I am afraid it will be blazing hot. However, we may try it anyway. That will give me plenty of time to plan. If we go for spring break this year I will be scrambling to make ADR's and trying to figure out FP+ might take the fun out of it!

Thanks again!!
