Please, Help Me Choose A Hotel!

My DH is attending a conference at the Anaheim Convention Center in July. I will be going with him and visiting the pool during the day. Please help us choose from the following hotels: 1)Crowne Plaza 2)Doubletree Anaeheim- Orange County 3)Hyatt Regency Orange County 4)Marriott Suites Anaheim and 5)Sheraton Anaheim. We're interested in the pool and surrounding restaurants, etc. as well as proximity to DL. thanks

I haven't stayed at any of the above. I did however stay at the Anaheim Hilton that is RIGHT next to the convention center. It was nice and the food was good at the restaurant. They also have a Starbucks. It's not THAT far from DL, but it wouldn't be a comfortable walk after a whole day there. Is there any chance you can stay at a resort hotel?

Thanks for your reply. My DH's company is paying for the hotel so we are limited where we can stay. We ended up booking the Hyatt Regency Orange County. If anyone has any feedback on the Hyatt I would appreciate it. I did a lot of research on the DIS and was still unsure which hotel to book. The Hilton was not an option although it sounds like a great hotel. Thanks in advance for any replies.

I stayed at the Marriott Suites in Anaheim for a UFC fight and they were fine. But it was quite aways from DLR not walking distance. But it might not be the exact one you are talking about I think there are two Marriotts.

We are booked at the Hyatt for a stay in August - haven't stayed there before, but it looks nice!
You might check on Expedia.com, and look at some of the hotel reviews by guests. That was what convinced me to stay at the Hyatt! One thing about the Hyatt - it has a dedicated shuttle to the Disney parks, in case you get the chance to visit, plus there are several restaurants right there (Buca di Beppo, Red Robin and Joe's Crab Shack - I think!)...
