Please help me ask the Travel Channel for more Disney programs.

Lately on the Travel Channel the Disney programs have been few and far between. I went to the discovery channel web site and requested they show more Disney programs as well as add new ones. If anyone is interested in doing the same here is the link www.discovery.com/utilities/about/contact.html

That's funny that you should say that. I got TIVO for Christmas and right now I have no less than 10 shows about Disney taped and waiting for me to watch...It's almost TOO many!! I don't know if they were all from the Travel Channel though, some might have been A&E...I know I have one recent called "Great Hotels" that featured the Grand Floridian, one about DCL, two different ones about Christmas in Disneyworld...one about the Disney Imagineers, and the list goes on and on...

I don`t know... I think that their Disney shows are repititious, it seems like inside Disney and secrets of Disney are the same show! I would like to see Samantha Brown do more Deluxe Disney resorts, I would like to see Rachel Ray do Disney in 40$ a day too (Food Channel), but the secrets and scenes are a little overdone.

While we are on the topic though, has Samantha Brown done a new Great Hotels season? it seems like I haven`t sen a new one in forever.

I have a ton on my TiVo, too. But I would love to see more of the resorts. I *only* have GF, Y&BC, WL, AKL, and Grand Californian. I'm burning them to DVD now, since most of our TiVo space is full of WDW stuff. But more would be even better!

In Rachael Ray's "$40 a Day" book she says her sister's family always goes to WDW and she heard from her that food is expensive. That's why in Rachael's Orlando episode she went all around the city and stayed far away from the parks.

I'd love to see more of Samantha Brown in WDW. I think she should do all the hotels! I prefer her over Rachael anyday!

They should send Samantha on the Disney cruise!! That would be a good show!

I am not sure if this is common knowledge but I noticed that the History channel is having something on Disney this Sat 1/14. It airs here on the east coast at 5pm.

I agree that the Disney shows are few and far between, but they are repetitious as well. In my email I let them know we need some NEW shows.

I would like to see a series on the Travel Channel about family vacations. Something like the Passport to Europe shows. Basically following a family around during their vacation. They could do a separate one of these for each Disney park (as well as other family vacation destinations).

It's not just a lack of Disney that bothers me. It's a general lack of family oriented things. No offense to anyone that loves it...but I'm tired of poker and Las Vegas. I don't like the way they get on a subject and beat it to death. I would just like to see more variety in their programming.

I just wish they didn't dedicate the whole weekend to Poker shows. It's the TRAVEL channel! I guess Poker is really popular, but give it its own channel already and put travel programs back on TC. To me, it's like watching paint dry (or golf).

They usually run them as you get closer to the summer. That is when I think Disney really pushes them to run them to get people in the parks in the summer heat(works for us! ) I enjoyed that History Channel show and I think there is one on today on the Travel Channel. Oh no it was the Waterpark show on today at 7PM EST. When do they do Theme Park week that is when the shows all start running again.

Samantha Brown is done with Great Hotels and is now doing the Europe thing. I guess she thinks she has covered all of the Great Hotels
