Last time we had a blast but were heavy on Character Meals...this time want to mix it up more..

And we did more breakfasts last time, I think dinners are better bang....

Last time, Chef Mickey's dinner, O'Hana's breakfast, CRT when it was 1 TS breakfast, Coral Reef [our fancy meal, kids loved aquarium], only 1TS, and Mama Melrose Fantasmic Package [this was slowest service and kids were HYPER].

This time....

We're staying at Poly so ...
O'Hana dinner, Le Cellier dinner, Boma dinner, 1900 Park Fare dinner and Kona Brunch day we leave....

the only character meal is 1900 PF and it's light in characters....should we do something else instead? Also nervous about Le Cellier...hoping kids will be OK...O'hana doesn't have characters but has fun interaction...

What do you think???

Kids will be 8,6,5-- 2 girls and 1 boy. My parents [60s] will also be with us so wanted to make it a little nicer for them as they were with us last time too. They paid OOP for Coral Reef. Yikes!

THANKS for your help...between this and planning itineraries so I know where I am what day and what time for dinner...my head is going to EXPLODE.

Trish:scared1:

I wouldn't worry about Le Cellier for the kids, they will be fine. I am not sure if your worried about menu or atmosphere, butthe kid's menu is good and the atmosphere is somewhat dim and cool. They do provide those menus that have kids stuff on them to keep them occupied.

When we have dinner there we can be out within an hour. I will say though that we are not the type to sit and sip coffee for 20 minutes after our meal (like my mother was when I was growing up :rolleyes1 ). We can do an appetizer, entree and dessert and be out in about 1 hour's time. I guess I will add that my dd (10) perfect angel and can handle any type of situation, but my ds (6) is a handful and is free-spirited. He doesn't have a problem holding out for the meal.

Good luck with your choice!

We did Donald's breakfast at the Dinsour Restraunat at the Animal Kingdom. You get the classic characters and a really good breakfast and if I remember right it is not as expensive as some of the others. The also took a family picture before we went in and gave us the opportunity to purchase and they put it on our photopass too.

he said the kids are still young enough to enjoy and not want to be at the parks all the time....

so....

What about this plan???

Tues we're doing MNSSHP hopefully...and planning on just CS meal because we are arriving that afternoon and don't want to feel rushed.

Weds Akershus Dinner...we'll be hopping from Studios to Epcot that day...good character interaction and kids don't have to be 'perfect'.

Thurs Le Cellier...hopping from MK to Epcot that day....kids will have to be 'good' here but I've read that it's cool for kids and quick service [1 hour ish].

Fri Boma....after day at AK....looks yummy.

Sat Kona.....sounds yummy and we're at POLY and can watch Spectromagic And Wishes at 8pm and 9pm and then crash.

Sun O'HANA character breakfast for our 'Sunday Brunch' last hurrah before we leave that afternoon....

OK??

Thanks.

Your schedule sounds good to me. We always plan one TS per day and the kids are great. My ds may be trying at times but I think we are the only ones who notice. He nevers does anything to the people around us. The good thing about Kona, OHana and Boma is that if really needed, one of you could get up and walk with a "rammy" child. Plus at OHana and Akershus, the kids will be getting up anyways to get their pictures taken with characters. I think you will see that your kids will enjoy their time to sit and relax also. It's not like at home, in Disney you are on the go the whole time and at a TS meal it is time to kick back and enjoy (kids too ;) )

total...
Akershus
Le Cellier
Boma
Kona
O'Hana

And all at good times too!!! Yipee...Now I can focus on planning my days and not worrying about where to go when....

Now I'm excited. THanks for your help!!

Trish
