I'm not sure how many of you visit the Theme Park board, but I do a lot and this thread really bothered me. It's sad what some people will do. It's nothing critical or life threatening, but it just hurts my heart when I read it.
Maybe you can help this lady's little girl. Post on that thread and here, and I'll let her know if she misses the posts here.

That's really so sad, I can't believe people would do that. Are pins really that important that you have to steal them?

I wish I had gotten into pins, I would send her some. I've only ever bought 1 pin, and that's lost somewhere.

Do they sell pins at the Disney Store? I'd like to send this little girls some. Tiggerlover, you are right, this breaks my heart.

Kelsey's (little girl who had her lanyard stolen) mom has finally responded to the thread about ther daughter's lanyard. We've got a few DISers who are getting pins in the mail to her tomorrow. Can any of you CBers possibly help out. No pressure, it's just so nice to see the kindness of DISers on the Themes Board. I know you guys are very kind here, it's just good to see it elsewhere on the DIS.

To All---

From the bottom of my heart and my daughter's we would truly like to thank every one here for your outpouring of thoughtfulness and generosity. I am a very humble person so all of this is very overwhelming to me but so greatly appreciated. I never would have imagined this ---You are all so making a wonderful ending to a sad mishap and my DD does'nt quite yet understand what I'm telling her but I'm sure she will when she actually sees your giving!

I have felt awful about this since the day we left it at Chef Mickey's because she wanted to take it off and instead of putting it in a bag where I should have I hung it on the back of my chair---I really feel it's all my fault but DD had a great attitude about it when it happened because she really thought whoever took it would do the right thing as I've taught her and turn it in---she really has no idea that some people in this world are'nt honest ---such as young minds are. So as I've been trying to explain to her in the last few weeks that we are'nt going to get it back she has been heartbroken and just does'nt understand.

It's so ironic that this happened because when we checked into our room at the CR---she's always looking for things---she found a crown that was for someone's barbie and someone's ether net card for their computer. She immediately said "mom" we need to take this to the desk and turn it in----when I told her we would take it when we were ready to go downstairs she was emphatic that we take it now-----so because of her someone got their barbie crown back and someone got their ether net card for their computer which I'm sure they missed too. So I have to look at this as her honesty and goodness coming back to her through all of you here!

We were just hoping and have been praying that we would get her lanyard with all of her special pins back and I knew if I posted here and someone came across it that we would get it back-- and now you are all helping out and I am so very grateful---I did call Central Lost and Found today and he said they had over 40 lanyards but no pink one's with a Kelsy pin on it---not even one pink one---- I'll try the CR's Lost and Found one more time but a few weeks ago they told me that nothing like it had been turned in.

Anyway I just wanted to respond to all of the kindness you have sent our way---I've been reading all of the posts but was so overwhelmed I did'nt know how to begin to say Thank You!! So Thank You from the bottom of our hearts and God Bless All

Ps---a special Thanks to Tiggerlover91 and MeanLaureen for initiating all of this---you really did'nt have to do this but one little girl will remember this for a long time and it will be a great lesson in giving for her to follow. As her little treats come in we will let you all know

You guys will not believe the PMs I'm getting in my box daily for Kelsey's address so they can send her pins! IT'S WONDERFUL!! Exciting for me as I never have that many PMs daily!

I want to thank all of you here on the CB for your help and MeanLaureen for linking it to the Collector's Board. Those are the ones who are PMing me daily for the address and I so appreciate their help.

If anyone else here on the CB wants little Kelsey's address, just let me know in PM and I'll have it to you as soon as I check for messages.
