We are doing a city vs country unit. Please help Jacka by voting for your favorite farm animal. Your kiddos are more than welcome to vote as well. Thank you!!!!
Please tell Jacka there is another 3 votes at my house for a cow and 1 vote for a pig... (so 4 to 1).... Since we live in town the kids help their friends at fair time w/ the animals... the kids love to take the cows to the watering station in their barn at the fair... I have photos of it a few years back!!
The other members - three in all - also vote for goats.
We think they are the best all around farm animal. They are so cute, they have multiple cute babies, they give milk [or use them for meat], they eat weeds and they are just so cute. [cute wins here]
if it helps, my 7 yr old DD would vote a million, billion, trillion times for a cow as the greatest animal. We recently changed her bedroom over and she picked everything from the wall paint to bedding to decorations. What does she choose for a large piece of art on the wall? A 16x20" cow painting! Of course she also has the new set of Winnie the Pooh friends she made in ceramics on the shelf but will ALWAYS love cows the best.

Jacka would pick cow too. We are going to a dairy farm, so he will be set. When we walked into the Dairy barn at our state fair he threw his hands up into the air, got a big smile on his face and said, Las Vaccas! It cracked us, and several strangers up!
Thank you everyone for voting! Jacka will make his graph today!

He had a great time and he is thrilled to be headed to a real working dairy farm tomorrow! I am hoping that we get to see a live birth...but what can I say, I am a science nerd!
