Please help.....have trip planned last week of Aug. should I change to September???

hey everyone,
Just wondering about changing our vacation from Aug.27-Sept.4th to the second week of September.....how is the weather??? I want it to still be warm - hot.....can anyone give me some ideas, I don't want the crowds but I want the hot weather....any suggestions.

The last week of August is one of the very best to visit, IMO. Crowds go down considerably. Kids down south have returned to school and people from the northeast think it's too hot to visit. It is still hot (watch for the afternoon rains).

We are going this July as an alternative to our usual last week in August. I am already planning for our August 2006 trip, however.

if you can choose between the two, I'd say go for the 2nd week in Sept. Everyone is back to school & it will be less hot than Aug. I'd go that time too if I could but my kids are getting too old to take out of school anymore.
