Please help decide on LCD TV

picked up a 42" 1080P 240 Vizio from costco. THen got $350 back from ATT uVerse. Had it for about a month and it is great

We have a Vizio 42 1080 that is two years old and it has been great. Same with the Sony 42 Wega LCD that is about 5yrs old. Both have great pictures and sound, would rate the Vizio higher but love both. Have heard great things about Samsung too, BIL has one and loves it.

Just before christmas we purchased a Sony 52" 1080 120hz from sears for $1299. This was $100 less than the sale price at Best Buy for the same TV. I prefer sears for our area because their delivery people are decent people and take their time to make sure they don't break or scratch anything. Delivery people from other stores we have bought from in the past could have cared less about anything and some looked and acted like they were on some work release program.

A tip I found from my research source said don't pay too much attention to the colors of the pictures of TV's side by side in the store, many retailers will adjust the picture on the Tv's to get you to buy the brand they want to sell the most of.
