Please help me pick 2 out of these 4:

Chefs de France
San Angel Inn
Rose and Crown
Coral Reef

It's definitely narrowed down to these 4 (been working on paring this list down for months, we've either tried or don't want to try the others). We have already tried Chefs and R&C, we KNOW we really like those and are intrigued by the others.

What would you pick?

We've only been to CR of those 4. Atmosphere is great and we have been lucky the 2 times we went to see people diving while we were there. First time food was horrible as was the service. Second time food was good as was the service. I think its hit or miss. I would definately go again if just for the atmosphere and dessert

I'd go to whichever you like better of the two you've tried and then also whichever is most intriguing of the two you haven't tried. A little familiarity, a little something new! :cool1:

Coral Reef is a positive, how about the LeCellar in Canada? Skip France very blan never actually heard a good thing about it until I went and should have listened. LOL!

Based on people's reviews, I would choose R&C & Coral Reef. 1 you've eaten at and 1 you haven't. San Angel Inn looks like a neat place to eat for the atmosphere, but seems to get a lot of bad reviews.

My vote would be Chefs and Coral Reef. We are trying Chefs for the first time. We love Coral Reef. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is pretty good. The service was a little slow.

We had San Angel Inn and few years ago and the food wasn't bad (chips and hot sauce were just okay, but the entrees were typical). The tables were crammed together and the service was HORRIBLE. I am thinking of trying it again. The area is so relaxing.

For me, it's Rose & Crown and San Angel.

I just got back on Tuesday night and Chefs de France was r best meal out of all 12 nights.

Coral Reef is good ate there a couple of times but not this trip.
This trip in Epcot we ate at
France- very good
Italy- very good
Japan -good

Chefs de France We went for lunch in June and were underwhelmed by the food. Glad we did it once (to see Remy) but won't be hurrying back. The service (unlike the food) was excellent.
San Angel Inn Had dinner there in June. The food was good...not great. The service was excellent as was the atmosphere. It is a place we will go back to ...but definately not on our *must do next trip* list either
Rose and Crown Didn't love it here. Food was average at best and the kids options are terrible.
Coral Reef One of our favorites. We have returned here the past 3 trips and the food has always been excellent. It is one of the few places our kids requested AGAIN for our upcoming December trip.

Hope this helps! :)

We have eaten at the San Angel and the Coral Reef. I did not particulary care for the San Angel. The dining area is very small. The food tasted good but afterwards everyone had some type of stomach distress. We also ate the Coral Reef which I must say everyone enjoyed. We thought the food wa very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. We did not eat at the Rose and Crown although my DH and I went there for a drink. We loved the bar area- the drinks were great and the bartenders were wonderful. The menus just did not appeal to me. The atmosphere, however, was great. :hippie:

I have only ate at R&C out of the four and I definitely recommend that. It was very good. I have always wanted to try San Angel Inn, but I will say I know it isn't on the list but Japan is really yummy :)

We ate in epcot 3 dinners out of 10 meals. We really liked chefs. Felt very rushed in italy(appy came out then 5min later our meals). We also had counter service at morocco which we thought was very good. But we have different tastes. Our all time favorite remains Jiko in Akl. Over 15 meals there and have never been disappointed.

I would say Coral Reef and Chefs de France. Though I have also eaten in Rose and Crown and San Angel Inn and have liked both those too. You can't go wrong with any of these restaurants but I will still say CR and CdF. Enjoy!!

Have never been to the Rose and Crown

The atmosphere at San Angel is wonderful but the tables are very close together and it is loud. We love the food and put up with the rest.

We absolutely love the Coral Reef and Chefs decide if you want fish, (Coral Reef)or steak (Chefs)

I've only eaten at Coral Reef. The atmosphere is great but the food is hit or miss. If you go definitely have the Chocolate wave. :)

I love the atmosphere at San Angel Inn, but have never been a fan of the food. Last time we went we weren't on the dining plan, so we just had a few appetizers instead of an entree, and thought they were outstanding! We definitely will be going back there again and again. If you do end up going there, try and get one of the first seatings and request a table on the water. You don't have to wait as long if you get there right when they open for one of those tables, we've gone during the middle of the dinner rush and have waited an hour with reservations for a table to open up, but it is totally worth it. The tables are close together, but it doesn't feel so bad when you don't have tables on all sides of you, being in the middle of the restaurant is horrible!

Never been to Chefs De France or Rose and Crown. We've eaten at Coral Reef, the food was pretty good, but we were all the way at the back of the restaurant away from the tanks, so the atmosphere probably wasn't all it could have been for us. We'll probably go again sometime and try to get up by the tanks!

Coral Reef and Chefs. We went to both of those the last trip, and we're going to both of those on our next trip.

We're also trying Rose & Crown - so I can't give my opinion on that restaurant until we get back from our trip.

I absolutly love Coral Reef. We had a wonderful time and the food was incredible! This year we are planning to go to San Angel Inn. I have heard nothing but good things. :thumbsup2
