OK....So...when I am booking....for my very first time with my Lowes membership..(already have that and AAA)...and I want to stay at one of the three on site hotels for Universal...and I already have our park tickets...I should...(walk me through it please..)
Just call the # on the back of your Loews Card. They will ask you what hotel you're interested in and they will transfer you to the Orlando #. I do this because I never remember the Orlando number. Or, since you're only blue, you can just make your reservation online and add your LF number to the online reservation. You don't get anything at the time of reservation as Blue. You can get an upgrade from std to water view on check in, if available, but it's not like you can upgraded to a premium room (if you're Gold) or a suite (if you're platinum) at the time of your reservation.
If I've misread your message and you are Gold or Platinum, simply book at a qualifying rate (AAA, rack, super saver) and identify yourself and your LF status. Simply say, "I have AAA and I'm Loews Gold." Or, "I have AAA and I'm platinum, and I want to see if a suite upgrade is available." They know the drill. If they don't offer you the upgrade, it may be that the room is not available so just ask. For instance, I wanted a King Suite at the RPR for the first weekend in December, but the suites were sold out there that weekend. I was able to swing a suite at the HRH, however. They will tell you that the room is normally X per night, but with your LF Gold or Platinum, you get it for X. This has been my experience, at least.
