Please explain the new AP discount

My life has been hectic the last couple of weeks, so I haven't kept up with the latest 'news'. What IS the new discount for AP's.? I've read through many of the discussions, but haven't found exactly what the discount is. I read so many posts that my head is spinning, but no where did I find the beginnng!

This is what the DVC website says...

Walt Disney World Annual Pass Discount
Disney Vacation Club Members and their immediate family (living in the same household) are eligible to receive discounts on new and renewed 2005 Walt Disney World® Annual and Premium Annual Passes beginning January 2, 2005.

Ages 10 + Ages 3 - 9

Annual Pass Discounts $100.00 $85.00
Florida Resident Annual Pass Discounts $20.00 $17.00
Annual Pass Renewal Discounts $75.00 $64.00
Premium Annual Pass Discounts $125.00 $106.00
Florida Resident Premium Annual Discounts Pass $25.00 $21.00
Premium Annual Pass Renewal Discounts $95.00 $80.00

Wow!!! Thank you so much, this is much more than I anticipated Disney would do for us. With the new discount I will definitely go back to Annual Passes and hopefully be able to fit in an extra trip each year.
