I have read several complaints about the dessert "option" that is being presented on the 2008 dining plan. Some have said that substutions were not allowed? Even for medical reasons?
Is there just ONE dessert option per restuarant - or can we still order any dessert off the menu?
MY DH is VERY allergic to strawberries and won't eat anything that says "berry" and I would be a bit miffed if we are paying ONLY 1.00 less - not getting an appetizer - having to now pay the tip OOP and he can't even get a dessert he is able to eat.
I really hope I am misunderstanding.
Anyone want to clear this up for me? Please?

. There are plenty of non-berry desserts available. People want to substitute an appetizer for a dessert for medical reasons and that is not allowed.
