Please explain Express Pass

we are going to US and IOA next week on a very quickly planned trip.

Is there someplace that explains this (I know DIsney fast pass) and what rides have it.

The advantage over the Disney machines is you can pick what time to come back between 2 choices usually.

The bad news is that they run out quickly and they don't always have all the machines working...

I found out, when they rebooted a machine, that they run on Windows and that's why! lol
