We will be returning from our trip in the begining part of December. This will be my first scrapbooking project. I know that a lot of people will want to see our trip photos at Christmas. I don't want to rush through scrapbooking, because I want to take my time and do it right. So, do I put the doubles in an album, or wait and show them another time. but if I wait, I know that the excitement of our trip won't be there from the others. I know, it sounds like a dumb question. I am almost thinking to jump right in and see what I can accomplish before Christmas and maybe bring the pages that are done, and then bring the rest of the pics in an album. What do you think?

I would take what pages you have completed, & also show the other photos - then you can show the album again when it is finished. If it was me, looking at someone elses trip photos I would still want to view the album even if I had already seen photos earlier :sunny: :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Another suggestion would be to do your pages now and just slot your photos in later. I know a couple of people who have done this and it amazes me how organized they are. They write down exactly what shots they need for their books and make sure that they take plenty of pictures. One friend of mine left a few blank pages here and there for spontaneous shots. The albums look great too.
I wish I could be that well prepared. Good luck.

I wait until I'm done but mainly because the album I have my pics in is also bulging at the seams with postcards, park maps, brochures, other pictures from family I've copied and who knows what else. But everything is exactly where I need it so I don't want anybody going through it. My husband can barely look through it without me freaking out. What can I say? That's just me. I do keep the professional ones separate, though, and show those off.

I had kind of the same situation in that I tookt he pictures for my dad's wedding and told them that I'd make an album for their gift.

Because other people took pictures and mentioned that they'd give them the duplicates and because I didn't want to rush an album I took my dups. and put them in an album.

Once I'm fairly sure that all the pictures are developed I'll start an album for them and then an album for me to keep.

Have a great trip and tell Mickey and the gang I said
