It’s a service that you can pay for that allows you keep things so you don’t have to bring every time..it’s a big blue tub. I keep my toiletries, hair straightener, ponchos, alcohol, minnie ears, and other things so I can travel light.

There are different plans but we pay $19/ month for unlimited deliveries and it’s awesome. We come 6 times a year.

To be clear, it is a private company. It is not owned by Disney. Sometimes there are discounts for DVC owners.

If you join, you enter info on the website about your next trip in the Orlando area. They deliver an empty storage bin to your hotel. You fill it up, and leave it with Bell Services when you depart.

The next time you travel to Orlando, you enter your travel dates on the website. They will deliver the bin to your hotel for your arrival, and pick it up after you depart.

They service non-Disney hotels but not every hotel. At one point they were not servicing Universal Orlando hotels, not sure what is happening currently. Check their website to see what hotels they service.

Yeah they don't deliver to the Universal hotels still, which is unfortunate. As I understand it, it was Universal's choice, not OL. Their Bell Services didn't like having to deal with them apparently.

One of the few instances Disney as a more guest-friendly policy than Universal

We use it for four things, the rest is mostly filler:

• A slimline Brita filter (no Orlando Water Smell for me!)
• A non-stick pan that isn't scratched to high heaven
• Everyone's preferred hair care products (heavy stuff to cart to and fro)
• Packable towels for water park visits.

There's a lot of other stuff in there, but it's not that important. Coffee filters (cone and basket). Spare readers. Blister kits. Ginger gum. Dice and cards for rain-outs. That sort of stuff. Oh, we also include mineral sunscreen because it never expires, though we also usually bring more than enough.

They do service some places that don't have a bell services staff, as well. We just got back from Marriott Cypress Harbour. OL does deliver/pick up there, but I had to get it between the main check-in building and my villa. That wasn't a problem--I had a rental car and there were ample luggage carts. But still, worth noting.

We had one for a few years, but it didn't end up being worth it for us. There wasn't enough necessary stuff that we kept in there to justify the expense of having it.

Last trip, we requested 2 mugs, 2 plates and 2 bowls from housekeeping. As it was, there were already mugs in cabinet at BLT. Housekeeping said there were returning the mugs to studios.

Not ignorant at all! At least I don't think so - we've been members since 93 and I had no idea either! Thanks for letting me learn something new here!

Yeah, I could probably just ship a new brita filter to the villa each trip and it would be cheaper. I think of the OL as more of a convenience, and a little splurge that makes the trip a bit nicer.

It's far from the dumbest thing I spend money on.

It's a service to leave stuff there and they store your items. There is a fee. I saw a Owner's Locker on my last trip and it's not that big. Honestly I think it's cheaper to just pay for shipping box to hotel or paying for the luggage and just buy things on your arrival. Each person has a different opinion though.

We’ve been using them since 2018 and quickly upsized from one box to two boxes. Friendly, professional, reliable, great communications and have never let us down. I wouldn’t describe the service as cheap; it is much more about convenience and saving time packing and unpacking.
