I would love to hear what you expert cruisers would enjoy doing throughout a full sea day!

What’s your typical agenda, or if you don’t plan anything specifically, what do you generally end up doing that you enjoy?

When dd was younger, I would schedule the character breakfast and princess/frozen meetings on the first sea day if available. Sometimes dh and I will do an alcohol tasting or Palo brunch. Otherwise we play it by ear. We also like the Anyone Can Cook demos, character drawing classes, MDA, mini-golf, shuffleboard, and Aquaduck. Don't really spend a lot of time at the pools since we can do that at home.

Sleep til I wake naturally, dress in workout clothes, grab cup of coffee on way to work out. Workout about an hour, meet hubby for breakfast.

Check schedule for cooking/wine/napkin or towel folding, if not change to swimsuit and head to top deck with book. Eat fruit and salad lunch at little place outside buffet doors. If nothing interesting on schedule (DVvC, trivia, etc.) return to top deck. Get ice cream at some point.

About 5 go back to room to get ready for show and late dinner. After dinner go to adult area for a while.

Wake up have coffee outside by Cove Cafe, then a palo brunch, walk around the ship little, take a nap, go see a movie, relax on our verandah........

Wake up, cabanas for breakfast, then plant my butt in a chair on the adult deck outside Satellite Falls and spend most of the day there going between the chair and SF. I might even go take a look at the lunch buffet (I say take a look but that means eat something). By late afternoon we will likely visit the Cove Bar or Currents for a drink (or a few) until it's early evening and time to go get ready for dinner and the nighttime activities.

Wake up early (just because I do) and head up to Cove Cafe and grab coffee and a croissant and plant my butt in one of the comfy chairs outside. Wait for DH to wake up and then either Palo brunch or breakfast at Lumiere. Afterwards hit the Rainforest and maybe grab a massage. Then either a mixology class or a movie followed by dinner and a nightcap on the verandah. Ahhhh...51 more days!

Room Service Breakfast enjoying the veranda until around 9:30a followed by the spa or adult deck. Spend the afternoon at the adult pool bar and walking the decks. Around 4p start to think about getting ready for dinner. After dinner drinks at the Sports bar.

Up early and walk a mile on deck 4. Next it is off to Cove Cafe for a coffee and pastry and then back to the room to get ready for PALO brunch. The afternoon finds us lounging on the concierge deck with a good book, and then down to the room for a nap and then it is time to get ready for dinner. After dinner it is up to the Concierge Lounge.

Our sea days have in the past just involved getting up (we're usually all awake by 7:30-darn kids are early risers!), lazing around the cabin then heading up to cabanas. we head up to the pool for when it opens with the kids and before it gets too busy. Have an ice cream and/or coffee while the kids swim. Room service on the verandah for lunch. After lunch we each take a kid and let them choose what they want to do around the ship: Movies, golf, princess or character visits, drawing classes etc. My youngest enjoyed the empty atrium one day and just spent her time dancing and putting on a dance performance around the atrium. :flower3:Then we meet up for dinner (early seating).

If my son lets us sleep past 6:15 I celebrate (he's 4 atm).

My perfect day (I've never had this, but this would be what I want): Walk Deck 4 before 7AM. Get a snack and cup of tea. Read. Take a shower. Palo brunch. A movie or the pool. Go have a drink and get ready/eat dinner. Go to a show or to the adult only area for drinks/activities.

I expect when DS is a little older, I'll be able to make this happen.

Version 1) to start, DW missed the ship in the last port :earseek: so I'm on my own and can sleep in as late as i want, have as many snacks and drinks from the cove cafe as I want and then go dominate Disney Trivia!! Nap time on one of the deck 4 loungers. Grab several chocolate chip cookies and make Ice Cream Sandwiches. And then maybe pop in and drop a wad on Bingo - to see what the fuss is all about (have never been in over 20 DCL cruises). Dinner: have all of the "bad for me" appetizers, whatever entrees I want and then a bite of each of the desserts. Late night - go be silly in the night clubs and enjoy some of the late night "high in fats" snacks. So, yea food coma for the next day.

Version 2) again DW missed the ship  in the last port and I'm on my own again :cool1:. This time I have to be up and going around 9am. Heading up to deck 4 and walk a brisk 5 miles(when DW is with me, we get passed by 85 year old great grandma's - with DW's idea of walking for exercise ... I have to eat celery the entire time to triple the number of calories burned). Get some cold water to re-hydrate and cool down. Get cleaned up and dressed and head to Palo brunch. Maybe skip the entree, but not the pizza, and pig out from the Bread and Cheese table and the sweets table (truly, Palo is the only place onboard to get very good sweets / pastries - I assume that Remy's is good too). If there's room left, then crab legs and shrimp. Tip the server and maitre'd well, since they will be carrying me down to my stateroom. I will then change into something much larger and more comfortable and eventually make my way to the deck 4 loungers. Probably will skip dinner since I had a later Palo seating and there is a limit to the amount of food one can consume after all. Will move up the the pool deck, claim a lounger and watch whatever is on funnel vision. Catch my show in the WDT, attend whatever activity / performer is in the adult nightclub, then head up to the top deck to just spend sometime with the stars. Eventually, or not, make my way back to the room.

Day 2 .... thar be lots of 'splannin' to do when DW catches up with the ship in the next port :rolleyes1:smooth: ....

grab a drink in the lobby, get some pictures/characters

Christmas Day 2017 we were on magic on a sea day. We got up, went to atrium and grabbed some hot chocolate and cookies to keep us going while seeing Pluto, chip & dale, Mickey, Minnie, and stitch. Up to cabanas next for breakfast then off to make gingerbread house. Wine tasting session followed and then lunch at cabanas and sit out on top deck to watch Disney parks Christmas special and watch Fantasy sail past. Back to cabin to get ready for dinner. Perfect day

I leisurely wake up. DH has hot coffee waiting for me out on the verandah. I drink a cup of coffee while waking up and watching the ocean go by. Then, take a shower, dress and head to Cabanas for b'fast. After b'fast, more coffee on deck somewhere. (I try to leave the room available for the room hosts to clean). Look through the Personal Navigator to see if there is anything I want to do before lunch. Maybe watch a movie on the Funnel Vision. Eat lunch at Cabanas. Any afternoon activities from the Personal Navigator / explore the ship. Eat early dinner, watch the night's show, in bed by around 9-10 pm.
